My wife is taking AMOX TR-K CLV 500-125. She is having a burning sensation around the lips of her fijuana. Can this medication cause this? Thank you. PS: I am not sure how to spell fijuana??? The burning sensation is most likely being caused by a yeast infection; caused by a common fungus known as Candida. Normally the acid balance of the vagina keeps this fungus from multiplying, but changes in the acidity of the vagina (often due to illness, menstruation, pregnancy, some antibiotics, or birth control pills) can stimulate yeast growth. My mother is experiencing loss of memory and speechproblems can this be a side effectof nitrofurmac ## After looking at a number of credible webpages, I'm actually not finding anything relating to memory loss or speech impairment. I know these can be side effects of many prescription drugs, but in this case, not even the prescribing information for Nitrofurantoin lists such information. Is your mom taking any other medications or supplements that might be attributing to those side effects? MedlinePlus lists "excessive tiredness" as a severe side effect. Will this medicine help prevent infections after having teeth pulled I just had total extractions and was wworried about infections will this help ## Hi Tjay, Based on my research, antibiotics can be used to treat a tooth infection as well as prevent infections in some cases. I recommend that you just keep your mouth as clean and hygienic as possible, you can try rinsing with hydrogen peroxide if your dentist allows. Clove essential is also something you may want to look into trying because it does have antibacterial properties and is great for hygiene of the gums of teeth. Antibiotics are so harsh on the body and can cause lots of other issues, I wouldn't use them unless you have to. I hope this advice helps!

I am afraid to take the DOXY-CYCL HYCL 100mg tabs becaus eof the side effects. Yet I have been told I have cellucitis on my lower right leg. I 'm on treatment with this medication for ten days, after I've been diagnosed Diverticulosis. After days @ the hospital with another antibiotic, Dr sent me home with Amox Tr-K- CLV. 875-125 Mg Tab Since I started this oral antibiotic I noticed that my eses are dark brown and came with a yellow fluid. The first day was diarrhea but now is a little more firm. Is It Save To Take Amoxicillin 500mg And Hydrocodon Acetaminophen 5 500 the same time or after an hour? I am in pain after my dental visit ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions listed between Amoxicillin and Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen; deeming them as being safe to take together. Is Amoxicillin TR-K-CLV ok for a 15 year old with a sinus infection? ## Hi Karen, Based on my research, I do believe it is regarded as "safe" for a 15 year old to take this medication. I am concerned about starting Keflex because I just finished taking Amoxicillin. Will this be ok? ## Did you find out if it was okay to start taking this? On the drug info page it says to let your doctor know if you are taking any other antibiotics while taking keflex. But technically if you already stopped taking the amoxicililn then you might be safe to take keflex. Sometimes you might be prescribed a different antibiotic so that the bacteria don't build a tolerance in your body to the original one you were on. But it is definitely best to triple check with your doctor about this.
