does this medicine contain sulfa? ## The answer to your question is no. typed in wrong email so resubmitting - i tested myself last week for thc , came up negative. tested again today it was positive. quit smoking over a month ago. i started taking doxycycline yesterday for a sinus infection, also 2 advil yesterday and one today. does doxycycline give a false positive for thc ? or the advil, or possibly both?
Updated in DoxycyclineAnd Oxytetracycline? ## Unfortunately there aren't any studies or clinical trials done between prescription medications and pre-workout supplements to determine if there are any drug interactions; (although I really think there should be, since some of those supplement powders can almost end up being too potent from my own past experiences). However, judging from the ingredient/nutrition profile of Craze Pre-Workout, I would personally feel safe if I were to combine the two myself. What I would do though if I felt it was necessary, is to also get a doctor's opinion on the efficacy of antibiotics with these types of supplements, just to play it safe. I hope this helps in any way!

Updated in Doxycyclinecan amox-clav 875 be used for staff infection on the skin? ## Information I was able to gather states that: "Amoxicillin is often the drug of choice for staph infections of the ear, throat and nose, says Rx List. Doctors also order amoxicillin for staph infections of the skin and skin structures, or for lower respiratory infections like bronchitis and pneumonia. For patients with skin infections from beta-lactamase-producing staph, doctors will often order amoxicillin/clavulanate." NOTE: Adults typically take 250 to 500 mg of amoxicillin three times a day, or 500 to 875 mg twice a day for 7 to 10 days, for staph infections of the skin. The above information is referenced from: I hope this helps! ## I was just prescribed exactly what you posted. 875mg 2x day of Amox-Clav for 10 d...

And from what I can find, it isn't contraindicated when trying to get pregnant, being pregnant, or breastfeeding, but you should always double check with your doctor. Are there any questions or concerns?

(bronchitis symptoms, diagnosed at walk-in clinic) ## This is actually a question that is very commonly asked about antibiotics. And improvement should be seen within 3 days (72 hours). Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more Augmentin details here. Are there any questions or concerns?

I am currently using Clacee (500 mg) for a stomach ulcer, but I notice that it gave me a bitter taste, too much itching, and a rash under my shoulder blades. It also gave me too much gas. my ear [ right ] became plugged up from a real bad sinus infection and i can no longer hear at all out of it. Will Doxycycline help me. i am afraid i might go deaf if i dont get help quick. ## Doxycycline is a wide spectrum antibiotic that treats many skin, ear, and respiratory infections (including sinusitis). If this is something your doctor prescribed, I would definitely encourage you to give it a chance and see if you notice any progress over the duration that its been prescribed for. Unfortunately there's no real way to know for sure how well it will work for your ear until you actually try it. Are you certain that the loss in hearing was due to a sinus infection and not something else, like nerve damage? If you're not sure, it may be wise to clear that up with a proper dia...
I've been taking this medicine for the last 6 days I've noticed I'm nauseous I have really bad stomach pain and back pain is this a side effect? ## Hi, Alex! Sorry about the way you're feeling. Are you doing any better? The nausea can be a normal side effect, but the pain might be a sign of dehydration, if you've been having diarrhea from this antibiotic. It can cause it to happen a lot faster than most people expect. You can learn more Nitrofurantoin details here. If you're still feeling awful, you should talk to your doctor, so they can look into it.
I found a pill that is peach in color and oblong shaped, with a T on one side and number 12 on other side. Can someone please help me ASAP ## The pill imprint "12 T" on an oblong peach tablet has been identified as Levofloxacin 500 mg; manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc. Levofloxacin is used to treat certain infections such as pneumonia, chronic bronchitis and sinus, urinary tract, kidney, prostate (a male reproductive gland), and skin infections. It is also used to prevent anthrax (a serious infection that may be spread on purpose as part of a bioterror attack) in people who may have been exposed to anthrax germs in the air. Are there any food interaction with this medication, like grapefruit, etc ## I haven't found anything listed, but I'd suggest double checking with your pharmacist to be certain. This antibiotic may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and diarrhea. You can learn more Nitrofurantoin details here. Are there any questions or comments?
I have 3 tablets of Sulfa/Meth TMP DS. I think these were prescribed to me for a bladder infection. I have symptoms of it again. Is this medication for bladder infections? ## This is a generic version of the antibiotic Bactrim, which is used to treat various types of infections. However, the problem is that 3 tablets is not enough to finish a full course of treatment and fully eradicate an infection. Trying to use them creates the risk of someone developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. You can learn more Bactrim details here. Thus, if anyone reading this thinks they may have an infection, the best and safest thing to do is to see your doctor, so if they confirm the presence of an infection, you can get a new antibiotic prescription to finish a full course of treatment. Are there any q...

Found a round yellow tablet with "MP24" scored into it and a split scored into the otherside suggesting it can be halved. Anybody know what it is please? ## I haven't found an exact match to your pill, but someone in another discussion thread suggested that this was an antibiotic from the UK. There isn't any other verifiable information online to go off of, but the person who received this pill was given it due to an infection; so the possibility of it being an antibiotic seems to make good sense. I hope this can at least help to narrow down your search! Does anyone else have more information to add?
Hi, I have been prescribed the drug tinidazole 2000mg as a single dose for the treatment of giardia. I took it last night with dinner. I have the bad taste in the mouth that is listed as a side effect and was just wondering how long this will last for? Any one have their own experiences with this medicine? ## How long did it last, Sapph? While the after taste that some medications, such as this, can cause is annoying, it's not generally harmful and doesn't usually last more than a day or two after dosing is finished. You can learn more Tinidazole details here. I hope it's successful at treating it for you. ## The gross taste only lasted the next day which is goo!
500 MG tablets. What is the dosage and how often? ## I have a head cold. My sinuses are congested and my head feels heavy. I have some penicilina-v. I need to know how much to take and how often. ## With so many of these antibiotics for cold posts being viewed recently, I feel that it's important to add information, when possible. In this case, the relevant fact is that antibiotics are not effective at treating colds! Colds are caused by viruses and antibiotics are only effective at treating bacteria. You can learn more Penicillin details here. That link will give more details about Penicillin and what it can treat. And there are risks associated with trying to self-diagnose and self-treat, since you create the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, if these medications a...
I took this medication for 2 days and stopped it, I had broken out with a very red rash on my leg, and didn't get any new meds for my cold, is there a problem stopping . ## This is a generic for Augmentin, it is an antibiotic and it will not do anything to treat a cold, since colds are caused by viruses and antibiotics are not effective against them. You can learn more Augmentin details here. And that rash could be the sign of an allergic reaction to this medication. You should consult your doctor to be certain, because it may be something that you have to avoid taking in the future. Is there anything else I can help with?
