i was perscribed erthomycin 400 mg but was does es stand for and is ok to take if trying to get pregnant.. I keep getting lesions under my skin

Erythromycin is an antibiotic that's used to treat or prevent infections.
The ES is for extra strength or double strength, the dr is used similarly, it just means it's a higher dose of the antibiotic than the standard.
