I am taking sulfamethoxazole and cephalexin for staph infection. I just recently took a urine test for my suboxone doctor and got a call to come in to speak with them about my urine. I have been clean for 8 months and have only been taking my suboxone. Is it possible that the antibiotics caused a false positive for something? I am very worried.

My wife had been taking a course of amoxicillin for cystitis but stopped yesterday and today feels terribly weak, with occasional hot flushes and pain below her left shoulder blade. She is a 73 year old 'Anglo-Saxon' weighing about 110 lbs. She has not lost any weight, but her BMI has been low for years despite all attempts to build it up. Her height is 5'7". The dosage was 12 x 500mG pills on the first day of the course and one 500mG pill a day for 16 days, total 28 pills. She had nearly finished the course but stopped because her skin was yellowish and her urine was darker than usual although bowel movements were normal in colour.
