I have been given the above tablets by my doctor for a possible allergic reaction to triamcinolone wwhich was prescribed for oral lichen planus. dosage is 4 tablets twice daily after a meal for five days. It has certainly helped. but are there any possible side effects?

My mom has been on prenisone (5mg-20mg) for over five years now for the treatment of fibromyalgia. First the doctor thought it could be polymyaglia, but when the symptoms never got better he diagnosed her to have fibromyalgia. Her pain is all throughout her body and sometimes feels like she can't get out of bed do to sore muscles and joints. She is constantly bruised not knowing how she got them. In 2010, she had symptoms of a heart attack, the doctor told her to "up" her prednisone and she would be fine... Noon that day she suffered a major heart attack. Now, four years later and 60+ pounds greater her has become dependent on the drug. She feels so dependent of this drug becuase she feels like nothing else "helps" the pain. 6days ago i took two cytotec virginally and 1 bucally, i experience cramps atfer 4hours and i saw clots after 12hours i took another 2 cytotec bucally and experience little clots after 5hours,after that it was only spotting until the 5 and 6day that i started having serious cramping and headache,i took hyoscine butyl bromide for the cramps and i was relieve,,,,pls i jes want to know if everything is fine because am so scared.

What is the difference between diclofen pot 50mg tab mylan and diclofenac pot 50mg? I've been taking the latter of these for years however this time the script showed up as the diclofen pot 50mg mylan. Should I be concerned? Should I return it to the pharmacy? ## Hi Ron, Diclofen is actually reported to be a common misspelling or abbreviation of Diclofenac. So there shouldn't be any differences in the "active ingredients". However it is important to note that different brands/manufacturers often use a different set of "inactive" ingredients (known as binders/fillers). These are known to have an impact on the drug's overall bioavailability. Other than that, they appear to be the exact same medication and dosage. I hope this helps!

i am trying to grt this peoduct. ## Hi Santos, Sorry but did you mean to say "Aleve"? I haven't been able to locate any information on a medication by the name of Alivia. Aleve however, is an OTC drug containing the active ingredient Naproxen. This is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory med commonly used for minor aches and pains (including arthritis). There's also a prescription medication called "Ralivia" (Tramadol) that's prescribed for more moderate to severe pain. Do either of these names sound like they could be a match?

I had an abortion in may with Misoprostol 800mg oral dose for five weeks of gestation. I didnt have periods after that even tried again with same dosage 400mg after four hours. in july and with arthotec 50mg diclofenic and 200mg misoprostol but nothing happened except diarrhoea, heart sinking and mild cramps but nothing else. I am afraid to conduct PT again. Very tense and depressed. I am 37 years old and my younger one is only 10 months old. please suggest

I am taking nucoxia120. Now I got fever 102 I have rheumatoid arthritis. But my hip and chest joint pain is as it is. I was taking medrol 4mg. And because it wasn't that effective doctor gave me nucoxia120. But no sign of improvement instead I got fever. Is this the side effects of drugs ## Yes definitely it can be a side effect of nucoxia.......as it may cause flu like symptoms and increase joint pain in some people.i had the same experience.i suggest u stop the medication at once a and inform your doctor about the same

Hi,my ear is blocked and the pain is unbearable nothing is coming out of it,i went to a doctor and she told me that the tympanic membrane has ruptured and reffered me to a specialist but i cant afford it.when the pain starts the whole of my left side hurts and i get aheadache and my neck becomes stiff due to the pain,she gave me diclofenac,amoxyl and painblocks and they only help with the pain for a few hours.pls help.
