Hi, I am trying to figure out if this is the prescription pill I am looking for. I accidentally mixed some bottles up into one. It is white, round and is pre-scored to be cut in half. My mom suffers from cirousus of the liver and has rec bleeding which passes from her stomach .She has auto immuine also. Last year she had 8 bld transfusions. But when her blood gets low they always try prednisone . She also is diabetic this makes her sugar sky high is there no other way to treat this issue???? ## Prednisone is a corticosteroid and it is used to treat many conditions. That said, when trying something for treatment, her doctors must take all of her health problems and other medications under consideration, before prescribing something. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it is used to relieve mild pain and swelling. Acetaminophen is a very similar type of medications, which is why this combination is not available in the United States.
