I saw a friend take a purple pill with a monkey on it. Is this ecstasy? ## There are reports out of a tablet that meet this description, but rather than containing MDMA, tests have shown them to contain a mixture of Ketamine and Amphetamines.

Can the use of maximum strength oragel cause a false positive test result in a drug test ## No, the Benzocaine in it hasn't been known to cause false positives for anything else, especially since you don't actually absorb that much of it, at all. Learn more Benzocaine information here. Have you had a false positive? Were you taking anything else?

i am currently being follicle tested by childrens aid and i use emla numbing cream for my tattoos i wanna make sure i dont fail my segmented drug test please oprovide feedback. ## Emla contains the active ingredients Lidocaine and Prilocaine and, in theory, you shouldn't absorb enough from the cream for it to cause false positives, but it is possible that they can cause them for Cocaine, if you've accidentally absorbed too much into you body. I am not sure what all your Children's Aid tests for, but I'd suggest letting them know you used it, just in case. Are there any other questions or comments?

my dad used to use a medicine for mouth sores he got when he chewed- he thought it was called painla- does anyone know. I can't find it. thanks ## Was it an over the counter product? From the name, I'm assuming it probably was and, in that case, it's very hard to say what it was and if it's still available. There are, however, similar products on the market that serve virtually the same purpose, such as Orajel, which contains the topical anesthetic Benzocaine:

side what is this pill it is flat on the two sides and a circle partnered color raised horse on one side 5x written on other side ## I ment orange reddish color not pattern ## I'm not completely certain, but it may be an illicit tablet that contains Ketamine, it is often used as a tranquilizer for horses, since it is so potent, but is becoming more and more popular for abuse among people. Where was it found?

I've perscribed methotrexate for psoriatic arthritis. Can i take a combination of ibuprofen, paracetamol and codeine (myprodol) to relieve a headache? ## Have you consulted your doctor? Taking the Methotrexate with the Ibuprofen can actually raise the levels of Methotrexate that is absorbed in your body, which could reach toxic levels, so they should never be combined without your doctor's approval and monitoring.

HOW LONG IS THIS MEDICEN GOOD FOR BEFOR YOU HAVE TO TRASH IT ? ## Antipy Benzo Otic Sol contains the active ingredient Benzocaine; it is a topical anesthetic that is used to relieve pain. The shelf life of Benzocaine is 2 years if stored properly. Referenced from: Benzocaine topical creams and ointments should be stored in tight containers and protected from light; prolonged exposure to temperatures greater than 30 deg C should be avoided. I hope this helps!

My dad had eye surgery and afterwards has lost co-ordination and battles to speak and concentrate. Is this a side effect from the Dormican?? Thanks ## Dormicum contains the active ingredient Midazolam, it is a Benzodiazepine class tranquilizer, so yes, it can cause those types of symptoms. Have they eased up, at all? If not, then you should contact his doctor as soon as possible. ## Yes they have after about a week, Thank you.

I have used butesin picrate in the 1950's on two major burns, in both cases with excellent results. I am not aware of any drawbacks, except for the very strong yellow color. I would like to know what was the reason for this ointment to be discontinued because, if there is no terrible aftereffect, this is the best burn first aid I have known. ## I really don't have a lot of information on it, there isn't even really a monograph for it, but I think this is due to the fact that most of the products that contain are over the counter items. One that would be easiest to find would be Almay Anti-Itch Lotion, though I am not sure how well it would work for burns. Does anyone else have more information on this?

PHENOL EZ SWADS-WHAT IS EXPIRATION DATE ## When were they purchased? The expiration date on anything is going to vary, depending on manufacturing date, whether the packaging has been opened and etc. If the information you posted in your subject line is from the packaging, that would designate that they expired in 2009.

Can't find Viractin in store disconnitued or meet a prescription? ## I am sorry, but Viractin has been discontinued by the manufacturer. It contained the active ingredient Tetracaine, which was a topical anesthetic, so it really did nothing to shorten the duration of a cold sore, though the moisturizing effects of it could help keep them from drying out and cracking and bleeding. You may want to try a different over the counter product, such as Abreva, which contains Docosanol, it is an antiviral, which can shorten the duration of a cold sore, since they are caused by a virus. Have you consulted your doctor, to see what they'd advise you to use as an alternative? ## I have been using Viractin for this past week and I am now out. This topical gel is the only product that will let...

please help me i cannot afford any meds ## I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, nor prescribe any medications, this is an information only website. In addition, there aren't actual assistance programs available for generic medications, you would need your doctor to prescribe the actual name brands. The trade name for this would be EMLA and I can't find any assistance programs for it. Have you tried checking the price with various pharmacies to find the cheapest possible?

will Lidocaine Viscous give me a possitive drug test for opiates because i got one and all i took was thorizine elavil and Lidocaine whats up?? ## Yes, Lidocaine can cause false positives, because it is distantly related to Cocaine. On the cheaper, non-certified drug tests, false positives are known to occur anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. Have you discussed it with your doctor?

iam having trought infection which tablet is suitable ## Orofar is only used to treat inflammatory conditions of the mouth and larynx. It contains the active ingredients Benzoxonium and Lidocaine, so it will not be effective at treating an actual infection. An infection requires an antibiotic and most of them require a doctor's prescription. Have you seen a doctor for this, yet? It is also very important that you only use an antibiotic if there is a confirmed infection present. I am not sure what antibiotics are available, since I don't know where you are located, however, you can learn more about them here:
