What should I do now? ## Have you contacted your doctor about it? The normal dosage is 500mgs, 3 times a day for sinus infections, but your doctor may have had to make adjustments due to your being pregnant. I did find one note of this white oval pill marked C20 to be 200mgs of Amoxicillin Clavulanic Acid. However I can't verify my findings with the lack of information available on the pill imprint itself. Do you know the source of where you found this pill? Regarding the other white oval pill marked C|A, I have not found specific details about this other than the fact that it appears to represent the Coba...

Can you use Amoxicillin and Stayhist together? ## Hi June, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Amoxicillin and Stahist. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. With that said, I would personally deem it safe to take these two medications together. Stahist does have an interaction with grapefruit juice however, which states that: "the coadministration with grapefruit juice may delay the absorption and increase the bioavailability of oral scopolamine (one of the active ingredients in Stahist). The proposed mechanism is delay of gastric emptying as well as inhibition of CYP450 3A4-mediated first-pass metabolism in the gut wall induced by ...

I found a pill that is white and oval shaped that has 2276 or 2275 imprinted on one side and 93 on the other. What is it? ## Hi Sandy, I was unable to locate a match with the "2276" imprint, but I did however find that the "2275" imprint comes up as the pill you are describing. NOTE: just for verification, the 93 is one side, and on the other side the 22 and 75 are separated by a score line. The imprint "93 22 75" is identified as Amoxicillin (875mg) + Clavulanate (125 mg). This combination results in an antibiotic with an increased spectrum of action and restored efficacy against amoxicillin-resistant bacteria that produce -lactamase. Hope this helps!

If someone has an allergy reaction to sulfa can they take Amox tr-k clv 500-125mg tan is a white oblong shaped tablet ## Hi adriana, Are you able to provide the imprint on this pill? There's really too many different types of drugs and manufacturers to pin point every pill that contains sulfa, but with the imprint I can lookup and contact the manufacturer of this pill, regarding your concern. The link below lists a few medications that notably contain sulfa, but there are a lot of mixed answers floating around the net that pertain to Amoxicillin: For future reference I would just clarify with your doctor and/or local pharmacy that you have an allergy to sulfa; this way your current and future prescriptions won't contain any. I hope this helps!

So I just got prescribed this antibiotic for a dog bite and I have used amoxicillin before but it has never worked for me for anything I have used it for. Since this drug has it in it, will it even work for me? ## Did you discuss that with the prescribing doctor? They really don't know what does, or does not work for you, unless you tell them, or they have your full medical records. And exactly what do you mean by saying it doesn't work for you? This one, which contains Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid is a generic for Augmentin.

I have been prescribed Amoxicillin Tr K Clv and after four days, I have a bad case of diarrhea, so bad that I can't control loosing my diarrhea, as a result, I will not take the rest of the pills. Should I contact my doctor?? ## Yes, because if you have an infection, it does need to be properly treated. what is the shelf life of amoxicillin 45 ## These contain 500mgs of Amoxicillin and, if they have been dispensed in a pharmacy bottle, then the normal shelf life is 1 year from when you had it filled. After that year, they start to lose effectiveness. If they are in the original factory sealed container, their shelf life may be longer. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Could you please provide a citation that shows there is a minimum of one year of shelf life after the prescription is filled?
