My 12 month old niece may have swallowed one of my grandmother's antibiotic pills. I have reactions to all forms of dairy. I recently was put on Amoxicillin 500 gg 849 and started having symptoms - not of allergic reaction but dairy (vertigo, thick sinus drainage, migraine headache). I was attacked by a dog and the ER prescribed Amox-Clav for 3 days but the plastic surgeon prescribed the idential prescription for 7 days. Is it just effective after 3 days as is 7? My husband is taking pink and blue 45A. He says there is a strong garlic taste. Really, if he's tasting them, then it's likely that he isn't taking them properly. I just finished taking Amox-Clav 875MG. for 7, days, 2 a day for a dog bite. 2 days after taking my last pill, I have become very sick with diarrehea, and feel like I have a fever, but do not.
