I have been on Amitryptyline for about " weeks now 10mg daily, this is for depression and aura migraine. My breathing hasn't been too good recently either and frankly on and off getting worse. I was prescribed amoxicillin 500mg 5 days ago and today I have really been struggling to breath I have been taking my twice daily Asthma preventative and salbutomal as and when needed.Out of hours nurse told me this evening to start on my prednisolone (doctor told me only to take if wheezy) MY back is hurting along with my chest, how long before these meds kick in? Oral surgery for gingivitis and bone Graf. Been on for ten days and have 3days left. Threw up this am while eating 6 hrs after taking pill. Not allowed to chew yet mostly liquid diet. It does have a slight effect on the absorption of this antibiotic, but not enough that most medical scientists have considered it significant enough to carry a warning about telling people to stay away from dairy with this one. You should check with your surgeon first to make sure that it's okay for you to take it that way, but milk can often coat the stomach and help prevent the nausea and irritation. my Dr just gave me a prescription for amoxicillin two 500 milligram pills every 12 hours that equals out to 2000 milligrams of amoxicillin a day for strep throat for 10 days. My throat is also very swollen I just thought that seems excessive though. ## Hello, Clueless! How are you feeling? I stopped taking the antibiotic and now my vagina is swallowing ## Hi asia, Did you mean to say swelling as opposed to swallowing? If so... there's a possibility you could be suffering from a yeast infection (which is common after taking antibiotics). You could have also had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. Have you ever had this problem before? I recommend supplementing with a probiotic to reinstate good bacteria into your body. Eating sugar free yogurt with honey could help too (sugar free is best because the sugar may cause more yeast infection problems). Yogurt, as well as kefir, is full of good bacteria that can help build your immune system. If the swelling gets worse, please see a doctor as soon as possible! I hope this helps.

If it's a liquid that was already mixed, then it's shelf life is very short, even if kept refrigerated. It's really only good for about 14 days (2 weeks) and then you should dispose of it. I was given therse caps for a shin infection that I got from scratching my arms...I really don't tyhink they are helping ## How long have you been taking them? Generally, if an antibiotic is working you should see no worsening of the infection after 24 hours of taking it and improvement should start after about 72 hours (3 days). I am taking amoxicillin for a nose fracture that I got in Greek accident, what is it use for otherwise. ## This is an antibiotic, it is not going to help with a broken bone, nor allergic rashes.
