I am taking Amoxicillin and I tested positive for cocaine on a urine drug test. I went to the dentist and they gave me 250 two milligrams of Lidocaine + 0.119 milligrams of epinephrine and 2% HCI. I had a urinalysis drug test which came back positive for cocaine on December 7th 2016.. My son has two ear infections and was prescribed amoxicillin 3x's daily for 10 days.. Now I do know that I have to administer it every 8 hrs... But exactly how much time do I have before I've missed the dosing time, then have to skip on to the next scheduled time? ## I know, that is a bit confusing, since they don't give a specific time frame, I've just always considered it to be within one to two hours, but I am not a doctor. It is meant to be used for bacterial infections including but limited to: acute otitis media, streptococcal pharyngitis, pneumonia, skin infections, urinary tract infections, salmonella, lyme disease, and chlamydia infections. I would not use this medication to treat swollen and painful gums. If you mix a pinch of salt with warm water and rinse out your mouth with it twice a day, it should help to increase blood circulation in the gums and reduce swelling. Hello. I've been taking amoxicillin for 5 days (7-day course) for an ear infection. It took the sharpness of the pain off but there is no significant improvement after that. Hi, I have been felling dizzy and light headed for more than a year, had head MRI and blood work and nothing is wrong. I get more unbalanced when I teams shake infront of me like table or swing of hanged clothes. A year and a half ago one day I woke up with nausea went to Dr said inner ear infection and nothing can do about it no antibiotic is needed. After seeing 2 ENT they have no answer for me, some times I get hot ear too and one ear only. I begged my Dr to prescribe Antibiotics and after taking it couple days my lightheaded is worse now. I'm tolou, 39yrs. I had my first baby in 2014 through CS and I started menstruating 2 months after. I need missed my period but the dates are irregular but I still have it every month. But last few months it sometimes 31- 35 cycle for like 4months but the last one in June was 25 days circle. I was ill and tested for typhoid and I was placed on amoxicillin to treat it. Can it cause a positive for methamphetamine in a urine test? Been taking amoxicillin 500 mg and it showed up for a trace of methamphetamine in a urine test. There is no way I should have been positive. ## I would like to know this same info because I have passed three tests and am being accused of consuming methamphetamine, showing a positive after I finished my prescription of antibiotics. Why am I now being told I have consumed methamphetamine and I have no proof to back me up?!
