Amlopres 5

I am 66 yrs and for the last one year taking Amplopres 5 to control my BP.
Recently I developed Tinnaitus ie a mild sound from ear comming all time. ENT Doctor says could be the side effect of Amplopres 5.
Kindly somebody advice.

Amlopres contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, it is a calcium channel blocker and yes, according to the information it can cause tinnitus as a side effect, though it is very rare for it to do so.
