I am 27 years old. Last year I had taken cortiflam B and D and banocide forte for one month, moteir fx LCTZ 30 and ventidox to stop the seasonal cold during the months of November, December, and January. Then I got my blood pressure checked and it was about (140-42)/(85-90). My Dr suggested I take Amlokind AT every day after breakfast. Should I take it? Are there any serious side effects?

You should take it, if your doctor has instructed you to do so, there are far more risks associated with high blood pressure, than there are to taking the medication, such as congestive heart failure, heart attack, or stroke, if you let your blood pressure remain high.
The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
