What is the color of the Lupin capsules of this medication in this strength ## Amlodipine with Benazapril is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. The tablet manufactured by Lupin that contains 10mgs of the Amlodipine and 20mgs of the Benazapril is described as being purple, but it seems to look more reddish, with a darker portion where the two halves of the capsule overlap. On the darker half it should have the letters LU and on the bottom, lighter half there should be E14. Is there anything else I can help with?

I refilled my amlodipine today. The pill I have been taking is blue with an M and A9 on back The new one is white (as above Ig on front and 238 on back). amlodipine/benazepril 5/10 capsule information ## Ever since my husband starting taking this medication he has had insomnia. Dr. says the medicine is not the cause. I tend to disagree. ## It is not a normal side effect of this class of medications, however, medications do affect different people in different ways. It may be causing his problem or it may not, there is no way for us to know for sure. He really needs to get some advice or treatment options from his doctor to try to get to the root of the problem. ## Been on this medicine for almost a month and now I have developed a chronic cough. Often: dizziness; palpitations; muscle-, stomach- or headache; dyspepsia; nausea - in 1 in 100 users. Sometimes: blood disorders, development of breasts in men (gynecomastia), impotence, depression, insomnia, tachycardia, gingival enlargement - in 1 in 1,000 users.
