I took 3 of these tablets and had a bad skin reaction which is still ongoing 8 weeks later, blisters, skin peeling around eyes and mouth, is there any cure for this, will I be like this forever? ## What information has your doctor given you? Though it is very rare, the Amlodipine is known to cause Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, which can be a life threatening skin reaction. There is currently no known regular treatment for it, other than supportive care. If that is what you have suffered, there is really no way to know when it may improve, or if it may be a permanent problem.

please let me know the equivalent to amlokind at presently my bp is 170/100 i have stopped using amlokind at presently ## Why have you stopped taking it? Those are dangerously high numbers that put you at risk of congestive heart failure, stroke and heart attack. Amlokind AT contains Amlodipine and Atenolol, both of which are used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I don't know if a generic is available for you, but you can ask your doctor or pharmacist about it.

stomache full of gas ,swollen and sore, cant pass motions but blood bright red in small amounts , prescribed antibiotics ,but dr not sure what problem is , could it be tablets ,i have been advised to keep taking tablets, previous to blood apearing had vomiting and diarriha? loose motions, headaches,irritable , ## Has your doctor done any specific tests on your stomach? It really sounds like you might have an ulcer and, if that is he case, the Amlodipine tablets could be contributing to the problem, because they are known to irritate the stomach of some people, as a side effect. If it is an ulcer, then you will more than likely need to try some type of antacid medication for several months, to help prevent it from getting worse and to give it time to heal.

I suffer from mysatheina gravis. I've been having a lot of trouble with my blood pressure being very high / out of control, with a low pulse. Now I've been told i need a pacemaker and I think i need a new blood pressure tablet. Can you make any suggestions? I'm 70 and my blood pressure has always been irregular.
