I pick up my perscription yesterday, open the bottle and the color was blue, one side had A10 and the other side had a M on it. Is the the right medication. Thanks ## Yes, this tablet also contains 10mgs of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, it is just made by a different manufacturer, than the one you were previously receiving. This enables them to offer these generic medications to you, as cheaply as possible. Are there any other questions? ## Ithe was takeingamlodipinine besylate 10mg tmyl a roundblue...

Is Coveram 5mg +5mg Have Any Interactions with Grapefruit or grapfruit juice ? ## Hi Nick, The answer to your question is Yes, One or more of the active ingredients found in Coveram does have an interaction with Grapefruit in general. The interaction mentions that the consumption of grapefruit or grapefruit juice may slightly increase plasma concentrations of the drug; particularly the ingredient "Amlodipine". At this point in time, data regarding this issue has been conflicting and the clinical significance is unknown. Monitoring for calcium channel blocker adverse effects (e.g., headache, hypotension, syncope, tachycardia, edema) is recommended though. I hope this information helps!

amlodipine issued dec 8,2009 is it expired already? atorvastatin issued sept 16, 2010 is it expired already ## If you received them from a pharmacy, in the type of bottles that the pharmacy's use, then the expiration date is generally one year from the date it was dispensed. Thus, if they filled the Amlodipine on 12/08/09, the expiration would have been 12/07/10. Atorvastatin filled 09/16/10 would have en expiration of 09/15/11. They do not get dangerous after that date, but they do start to lose effectiveness and may not work as well at treating the relevant medical conditions. Just got rx for 10mg of Amlodipine Besylate but my markings don't match any descriptions. Pretty large white round, thick pill with L U on one side and H 13 on the other......Is this the right rx? I'm switching from Lisinopril because of the annoying cough but the listed side effects for this drug sound really serious. ## Yes, that is the correct tablet, it contains 10mgs of Amlodipine and the potential side effects for any medication can be serious and problematic, but the only way to find out how it affects you is by actually trying it.
