Amlodipine Manfucturer Change And Different Side Effects

I've been taking amlodipine 10 mg for over 2 years with no real issues and was recently switched to a smaller white tablet made by Cipla and I've been experiencing side effects like headaches, frequent urination and ED. I never had these with the previous manufacturer. Is is possible that the formulation is different enough to cause these issues? At the ER for an unrelated injury last night they gave me a different brand because I was due and my BP was up and some of the effects went away, so it led to me think about this.....

There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another and, since you've had the advent of new side effects, there's a chance that this new one actually has a little more Amlodipine in it than the prior one did.

Those can all be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness and hypotension.
