Amlodipine Besylate 10 Mg Tab Color

I am on 10 mg of Amlodipine Besylate. The pill is usually white in color. I pick up my perscription yesterday, open the bottle and the color was blue, one side had A10 and the other side had a M on it. Is the the right medication.

Yes, this tablet also contains 10mgs of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions, it is just made by a different manufacturer, than the one you were previously receiving.

Pharmacies will often switch which company they order from, whenever they have to restock their supply, according to who is offering the cheapest price. This enables them to offer these generic medications to you, as cheaply as possible.

Ann the only different between the two pills is that they were manufactured by different companies, they both contain 10mgs of Amlodipine.

Amlodipine is a generic for Norvasc and it is common for a pharmacy to switch to a different generic manufacturer if another company is offering it cheaper, at the time that they need to restock their supply. This is how they keep prices down on generic medications.

i always have taken amlodypine 10 mg...along with diovan hct....now i get amlodypine pill...that is white....the other was blue....now i am noticing a twitch in my top lip....that was never ever there before.....and i am betting that it is the new generic....amlodypine....i am not going to take ny more of that until i talk to my physician.....
