The round pill is approximately 7mm wide by about 2mm thick and a light yellow color. On one side are the letters AB and on the other the letter C. Please could you advise on what this may be? what does amitriptyline come up as in a false positive drug test? ## Will Elavil (amitriptyline) show any results on hair drug test? I take it for insomnia. 25-50 mg a night. ## I take amitriptyline but my drug screen also shows nortripyline. I don’t understand these tests, but I’m trying to. Both drugs seem to do the same thing. ## So 30 mg of Amitriptyline is taken every night which is considered a TCA. I've been taking a weekly Urine Analysis for over 4 months and have had over 23 consecutive positives for Flexeril and I've never taken it in my life. Is it possible that taking that much Amitriptyline a night could be producing this false positive even when they are being sent to a lab? Also, if so please provide some backing evidence.

My mother is diabetes and suffer from burning foot and ankle pains and symptoms. Her doctor has prescribes Trepiline 10mg, one at night time. Any reason why? As i have reading up on the drug, and no where does it state anything to do with the lower leg pains. My mom started Tryptomer 10 last Thursday. Took full tablet every night for 3 days. Felt nausea and drowsiness. Doc said to reduce it to half immediately (4th day). Half tablet also not suiting as she is feeling drowsy 24 hours. Can I stop it completely with immediate effect? I've been on 100 mg of tramadol 2x per day for a little over 1 month this time. I'm having s horrible time detoxing c/t although I've tried many times. After 2 times with refills my gp refuses another script. My neurologist recently prescribed Amitriptyline 50 mg per night for sleep and pain. I came off A almost 4 months ago. Hi, I have been depressed for 5 years, almost 6 now. My illness has been very resistant to medical treatment. I have tried a variety of antidepressants and had no results. Now I have been on 150mg of amitriptyline for half a year. It has been THE WORST medication for me. This one has made my suicidal thoughts and overall depression even worse! I can feel my mood drop significantly when I miss a dose, and tapering off this medicine has been a nightmare. I recently saw my psychiatrist yesterday. We made a plan to slow down the tapering process by going down 10mg a week. Last night was my first dose of 140mg, and I really cannot tel if it is just the natural course of my overall illness or if it is making me worse again. Or what if it's just the medicine in general? I had severe back pain and severe headache.Test conducted USG KUB and XRAY KUB no stones were visualised.Others all OK.
