Amitriptyline And Bupropion

Is anyone taking these two drugs together? My pharmacist is concerned, but both my Gastroenterologist (who prescribed it for IBS) and Psychiatrist are not concerned as I have no history of seizures. I also take Lamictal for bipolar, which was originally an anti-seizure drug. Confusing.

Taking them together can lower your seizure threshold, and the Buproprion can increase the effect of the Amitriptyline, so the dosage of the Bupropion should be kept as low as possible, and your doctor should be monitoring you regularly in case any problems arise.
