Am I Having An Allergic Reaction To Hydroxyzine ?

I took my first 25 MG pill last night to help with anxiety. I woke up at 4 AM with a headache, chills, nausea, and anxiety. Is this a typical reaction since it's new to my body?

Hello, MJ! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you had. Have you taken it, again? If so, what happened?

Those aren't symptoms of an allergic reaction, but they could be side effects of the medication. The FDA lists the other typical side effects as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications?
