I would like to see an image of the pill by Alvogen marked A 247. And feedback on how it worked please.

Hi Sue - The round blue pills from Alvogen inscribed with A 247 contain Butalbital 50 mg, Acetaminophen 325 mg and Caffeine 40 mg (NDC 47781-625) - generic for Fioricet.

#SUE ~ I've had CHRONIC so for 35+ years.

Back in the mid '80's thru the 90's, I took both FIORINAL + CODEINE (which has ASPIRIN in it) BEFORE my ULCERS & FIORICET + CODEINE (which has TYLENOL in it) AFTER I started getting ULCERS.

IF you're getting EPISODIC MIGRAINES, like the type that my mother-in-law had (you get them here & there; once in awhile) those meds should work well for you.

If you have CHRONIC DAILY, INTRACTABLE MIGRAINES, like I do (they NEVER really go away; the pain is there when you wake up & it gets WAY worse as the day goes on)you're more likely to need a LONG-ACTING PAIN med.

Now the ones that my mother-in-law & I were on had CODEINE in them, so those help control the PAIN & the BUTALBITAL is a muscle relaxer, which would relax your neck & facial muscles, IF you have EPISODICS.

What did you want to know about the medication??

Everything has been tried. I am now about to get Botox for the first time. Do you have feedback on Botox and where they can administer it if you have multiple triggered areas (as well as the entire head/skull)?
