Alternative To Amlodipine

I have been taking Amlodipine for high blood pressure for about 7 years which has been fine up till about 3 to 4 months when I experienced very hot sweats,dry mouth and cough,shoulder and neck pains and some fluttering on my right side just below my breast bone,these have got worse and more frequent. But when I go for my brisk Walk I don't get them. I am due to see my doctor on Friday. Can you tell me if an alternative available to amlodipine that would not have these side effects.
