Dear Sir can you really tell me the differance between Zanax and th generic I think ( and Alprazolam ) Is the chaper one better as in nopt as many side affects? ## They are both the same medication, Xanax is just a name brand for it, the active ingredient is the Alprazolam, so that is what the generics are sold as, which means neither is better than the other. PLEASE GIVE ME AN ANSWER FAST. ## It actually depends on the type of test they use. There are some basic urine screens that just check for the presence of certain drug types, which in this case would be Benzodiazepines, however, there are others that do check for the specific ones. In addition, there are some that check the levels of them, as well. If you are prescribed a certain dosage, then the amount in your body should fall within a certain range and anything outside of that range could alert them to a problem. i take 3-4 tabs of trika .5 mg since 4 mnths..i find difficulty falling asleep if i take 1 tab or if i dont take it. it has become my habit to take 3 tabs daily. how can i get rid of this habit?????? pls help. ## Trika contains Alprazolam, a benzodiazepine and they can be highly addictive.
