I take Alprazolam 0.5 mg three times a days along with other intidepressant drugs like Escitalopram 10 mg and Mirtazapine 15 mg and Ativan 2mg. How long can I take Alprazolam safely as it is said long use of Aplprazolam causes depression. ## As I suffer from DEPRESSION and GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER, I have started taking Alprazolam 0.5 mg three times a day along with Ativan 2mg (2 Pills before bed time) along with other drugs - Escitalopram 10 mg after breakfast, Sertaline 50mg after breakfast and dinner, Haloperidol 0.5 mg after breakfast, after lunch and after dinner, Librium 25 mg after breakfast, lunch and dinner, Lybotryp D.S. I found a light round blue pill smooth both sides and looks like one side of markings were rubbed off almost but ALP on the one side is very clear anyone know what this might be also it almost looks like it's a speckled blue color with a hint of white throughout ??? ## Hello, Helen! I took it yesterday(Monday) and i need to take a drop tomorrow(Wednesday) ## Alprazolam is a Benzodiazepine and these are actually the problematic ones for drug tests, because they can be detectable in urine for as long as 6 weeks, after you last take them. This is actually manufactured by Dava, Stada is just a licensed distributor. That's why when people post that such and such is listed on the prescription label, I always ask them to post back with the markings and description, because that's the only way it can be traced back to the actual company whose production line it comes off of. Which is stronger - Chlordiaz/clid 5/2.5 mg or Alprazolam 0.25mg? ## Really? For one they are completely different drug categories. Alprazolam is xanax..for anxiety and chlordiazclid (chlordiazclidinium) is for heart burn so obviously the alprazolam is stronger as in having a high effect ( .25 is the lowest dose) because chlordiazclid doesnt have one at all.

Also I received the bars imprinted with GG 249 and some of them were a tad bit shorter than the normal ones and when layed flat next to each other the shorter ones were a bit more rounded. Does anybody know if the manufacturer changed the size of these alprazolam tablets or is it possible that the shorter ones are fake? I would also really like to know how these tabs are supposed to be ingested, are they meant to be swallowed whole, placed on tongue and swallowed after being dissolved or do they need to be dissolved completely under the tongue without swallowing??? I have a pkg 10 peach/orange oval pills from Pakistan. They say they alprazolam 1mg. Not sure if they are the real thing. They also say Amson vaccine pharma pvt. Also say Amson manufacture. Currently consuming 3-4 bottles of corex and 3mg to 4mg alprazolam tablets everyday for last 8 years. Solution is known to me: It has to be cured in phases gradually reducing the intake. But how to start, what's the dosage? Issues: Sudden withdrawl of either corex or alprazolam is practically impossible as it causes panic attack, chronic lose motion, depression, severe headache on one side of forehead along with vomiting. Please suggest how to return back to normal healthy living. What is the aftereffects? Specially my liver is fatty due to the above and high cholestrol (age just 34).

I am on United Healthcare. I have been prescribed Alprazolam for 10+ yrs. I have nerve issues bmy blood pressure is regular now and I feel more at ease. i ordered xanax and got xanax xr what is the difference? ## There's a big difference. Xanax XR is an extended release tablet. Typically you take one every12 hours whereas the regular Xanax you take one every 4 hours or so. ## I completely agree with the answer above my own.

I am on 2mgs 5x a day would the xr be better cuz been on this dose cpl years n I still have severe anxiety n panic attacks. Would they lower the dose? ## The XR is a time released formulation and there is a 3mg dosage of it available. Generally, when switching a patient from the regular release to the XR, it is recommended that they be started with the same dosage they are currently taking, but that it be taken once daily. Learn more Xanax XR details here. The 10mgs you're currently taking is the max that is recommended daily. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor, yet? ## An entebded release tablet might me a good option, but as far as dosage adjustments that's completely up to your doctor.
