I have been getting gg 249, with 4 scores on one side, blank on other. Seem to always have perfume taste! Must not totally be fake or I'd be sicker than ever by now! ## @Ripley, GG 249 is in fact a real Alprazolam 2mg tablet, manufactured by Sandoz. And for verification, it also carries a National Drug Code of 00781-1089. The real question that should probably be addressed here is where you got your prescription filled at (the pharmacy or the street)? "If" you aren't prescribed this medication through your doctor, how can you trust that you what you received is what 'they' tell you it is? The answer to the latter one is you can't trust anyone but a licensed pharmacy to dispense real medication. However, if there's an ingredient inside causing a perfume ta...

How many Alprazolam 0.5MG tablets is equivalent to 1 whole pill of a Zanax bar? ## @KingApache, You're asking how many 0.5mg Alprazolam tablets equal a whole Xanax bar, but an answer to this question would clearly be dependent upon what dose the Xanax pill is... If it is a 2mg Xanax bar, that would be equivalent to four 0.5mg tabs; not taking the extra binders/fillers into account. The imprint G 3720 also signifies a generic version of Xanax, which means its potency may or may not be exactly in line with what you might expect from a brand name tablet. I hope this helps! ## I relapsed and I took some xanxas the other day and some lortabs. how long will they remain in my body before being excreted??? ## From my experience, it took me 7 days for it to clearly get out my body and for a ...

Why do these g3722s have blue spots on them... could it b their expired or is it common, and when do they expire anyway ## Hello, Capcom92! How are you? The tablets with the G 3722 marking are manufactured by Greenstone Limited and they list them as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, which is classified by the FDA as a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. But they should be white, so I don't know what the blue specs are, they may have been tampered with, contaminated or they may not be real. If they are not in the original factory sealed bottle, then tablets expire one year from when they were dispensed by a pharma...

It has 3 scores as to break off and since one end is broken can only read 039 on it. It is oblong with a somewhat rounded corners and light yellow. ## Hello, Susanne! How are you? Thankfully, this one is easy to recognize, that marking is actually R 039. This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, the active ingredient in Xanax. The FDA lists this medication as being a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much that is what I was told that it was but couldn't locate it so wanted to make sure! ## You're very w...

Nothing like this happened in 1 years. threw my alprazolam ! Help What should I do , Hav been in the dumppster alread ## Hi Tina, Sorry to hear about what happened. We all make and learn from mistakes like this at some point in our lives, so you shouldn't get down on yourself about it. But I think your best bet would probably be to contact the doctor who prescribed it and see if he/she is willing to do anything for you as far as replacement is concerned. Due to the type of heavily abused substance alprazolam is, I'd expect a fair amount of resistance on the Dr's behalf, though it doesn't hurt to try? If nothing else, maybe he/she can at least recommend certain OTC supplements to help alleviate whatever potential risk there might be for withdrawals until you get your next...

White, oval with 4 bar imprints like you would mark a peanut butter cookie. No numbers or letters ## Hello, Angie! How are you? Are there 4, or 5? Is it possible that two of them are actually 1s? There is a tablet with 3 bars and two 1s on it that is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam. The FDA lists this medication as being a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Can you please double check the tablet and let me know?

Can 0.5 mg Alprazolam be used as a nerve pill? ## Will taking 0.5 xanax twice daily help me avoid withdrawals from 5 mg of valium twice daily? I'm worried. ## Alprazolam (Zanax) can possibly help you with withdrawal from diapazepam (Valium) The problem you may run into is the half life of each medication. Alprazolam (Xanax) is a very short acting benzodiazepine, while diazepam (valium) has a much longer half life If you are not in recovery from alcohol or other medications, you can use alcohol for withdrawal symptoms from benzodiazepines (Valium, Klonopin, Versed, Ativan, Xanax, Librium, etc,) Interestingly enough, the human brain cannot distinguish between benzodiazepines and alcohol. In fact they adhere to the same receptor sites in our tiny little brains. So if you find the Xanax...

please help with terrible anxiety in st Louis mo area ## Hello, Moemoe! How are you? Due to the new requirements set forth by the DEA last year, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe them for you. According to the FDA, this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. You also can't go to a new doctor and ask for a specific medication, because they are taught to view that as drug seeking behavior. You'll need to let your medical records and your symptoms speak for you, then discuss your treatment options. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer to someone? If so, th...

No markings or letters or numbers. Bought from an internet pharmacy. I've taken a couple and they give me the same affect; however after reading somethings like they could have other psychotrophic meds added to them, now I'm freaked. Has any seen, or used these? Or had any problems with internet pharmacies? ## i have seen the same ones but cant find any info, could somone be taking green 2mg bars crushing them down and stamping out say 1,5's to make more money? ## I got my prescription today for zanax 1 mg, instead of the blue ones I always get, the pills are a greenish yellow shaped just like the blue ones. It has an S 302 on one side nothing on the other side ## Does anyone know what the deal is? I plan on taking them back in the morning.. But I wonder are they the 1mg xan...

What is the difference between Alprazolam stamped GG 249 and Alprazolam stamped G 3722? The only difference that stands out to me when I research it is that they're made by two different manufacturers. True? Or is there more to it? ## Hi jax, From what I could gather, both tablets reportedly contain 2mgs of Alprazolam. However because they are manufactured by different companies, each tablet is also recognized for having a different set of "inactive" ingredients. Sandoz (GG 249) contains: microcrystalline cellulose + docusate sodium + lactose monohydrate + magnesium stearate + sodium benzoate + corn starch Greenstone (G 372 2) contains: cellulose powdered + corn starch + docusate sodium lactose + magnesium stearate + silicon dioxide + sodium benzoate These ingredients don...

So, just recieved my pex 2 blister packs in the mail today. Couldn't wait to tear into them. Absolutely no markings on the front or back. I've been reading comments on this site while waiting for my mail man to show and was a bit worried about the quality of this product. I started off by breaking one in half and letting it dissolve on my tongue. Definately detected the trademark "alp" taste and within 15 min. felt the relief I normally feel from U.S. made blue footballs. I beleive this product to be totally legit and would definitely refer this medication to my friends. ## @Estebon, I too have heard feedback about these PEX 2 Alprazolam tablets coming from India. Initially one might believe them to be fake or counterfeit because they have no markings to accurately ident...

Does Alprazolam or viibryd cause hair loss? ## Looking at the drug monograph for each medication, neither of them actually list hair loss as a possible side effect. However digging further into my search, I am seeing a lot of feedback from other patients suggesting that there are cases where both Alprazolam and/or Viibryd may have caused them to have hair loss. While I suppose there's really no way to know for certain based on this information alone, if you have any stress factors or something else going on in your life that may also be attributing to hair loss, I wouldn't necessarily rule that out either. Did you experience the hair loss shortly after taking these meds or did it come on gradually over time?

Found this in my pill container. can't tell what exactly the imprint is except the score and the S on one side ## Hello, Lilly! How are you? There are several possibilities that match this description. One is a 0.25mg Alprazolam tablet, it is a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Another one is a 5mg Levocetirizine tablet, which is an antihistamine that's most commonly used to treat or prevent allergies. Its side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Do you take either of those medications? Is there a chance you could have someone else look at it to see if they can make out the imprint?

I am in Maine. My doctor is retiring and I need to find a new one. Many doctors are reluctant to prescribe alprazolam for long periods of time. I have had anxiety most of my life and then it turned into full blown panic attacks. After many other medications and alternative treatments my doctor eventually put me on alprazolam. That turned out to be the only medication that worked. I have been with my doctor for a little over six years and now he is retiring. I am currently on 4 MSG of Alprazolam and he would give me five refills. The most refills he could give me by law. Now it seems many doctors do not want to keep me on these meds even though they work. I do not abuse them or fill early and only go to one pharmacy. Does anyone in Maine have a doctor they know tha would be willing to he...

The marked side of the pill has GG then 2 then 4 then 9 with a score marked between the GG and the 2 and a score mark between the 2 the 4. So it can be broken into 4 pieces. It is all white and blank on the other side. I was told it is a Zanax. ## Hello, Tim! How are you? That is correct, this tablet contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, it is a generic for Xanax. This medication is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
