Alprazolam 2mg Vs Diazepam 5mg

Has anyone tried these together? I just wanna know what they're like compared to the Valium (diazepam) that I’ve been prescribed for years?

You should not take them both, together, since that is essentially doubling up on the same medication, because they are both benzodiazepines that are used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders.

The NIH also warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and irritability.

Which one has your doctor advised you to take? Have they suggested that you switch? Are you on any other medications?
