What are the side effects of Alli (Orlistat) made by Aurobindo? I'm curious because I have to go pee every 2 seconds and didn't have this problem before I took the medication. ## According to NIH, a "frequent urge to urinate" is listed as a rare side effect of Orlistat. Source: They go on to note that you should check with your doctor immediately if you experience such symptoms. I hope this info helps! Please post back if you have any updates on how things are going.

orli 60mg diet pills are they the same as alli pills ## Hi norman, To answer your question, the main ingredient in Alli is Orlistat. So yes, they are one in the same drug. Orlistat is a lipase inhibitor developed to manage obesity. This chemical agent prohibits the body from absorbing fats from food. The recommended dosage of orlistat is 60 mg, taken three times per day. Furthermore, the National Library of Medicine notes that orlistat may consume up to 30 percent of ingested dietary fats. What can one eat or drink with food so that any fat in the food does not get digested? ## I'm not certain where you are located, so I'm not sure what is available to you. In the U.S. there is a product available called Alli, which contains the active ingredient Orlistat, which can help block the absorption of fats, though it does not block all, because your body does need some to stay healthy and function properly. It also can't be used if you are always taking it a very high fat diet, because this can cause severe problems in controlling your bowels. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

Does anybody know when alli is going to start being sold to the public? It was already approved by the FDA but is not being sold yet. Trying to find out when and where I will be able to obtain it since it's an otc med that doesn't need a script. ## It has also recently become available in most drugstores and in Wal-Mart/ ## CVS already has it on the shelves in SC ## LATER THIS MONTH, THERE WAS AN ARTICLE IN THE LONDON STANDARD. CHECKED WITH CHEMIST AND THEY HAVE RECIEVED TRAINING ON THE PRODUCT AND TOLD ME TO LOOK OUT FOR ADVERTS SHORTLY

SIDE EFFECTS, FACTS ABOUT IT, IT IS REALLY GOING TO WORK? COMPONENTS ## The active ingredient in it is Orlistat, it was originally sold as prescription only under the brand name Xenical. As with any drug, it works for some people and it doesn't work for others, there is no way to know for sure unless you try it. It can cause some rather unpleasant side effects, so it is important to follow all usage directions carefully. The most common and bothersome is loose/oily stools, since the active ingredient binds to fat and prevents it from being absorbed by the body. This leads to other possible side effects such as fecal incontenence and flatulence.
