Please doctor. My skin itch like hell, if I take Zyncet, it comes out and itch me like hell and then it dies down for just 2days and it returns. What can I take with Zyncet to permanently stop this terrible itchy skin?. Thanks ## You really need to consult your doctor, in person, to get to the root of what's causing the itching. Do you just have itching, or do you also have a rash and hives? Is your skin dry? Have you tried using different soaps, shampoo and detergents? The FDA classifies this medication as an antihistamine and lists its typical side effects as possibly including drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.

Will Benadryl allergy liqui-gels help cure a spider bite ? ## Hello, Teresa! How are you? There's no 'cure', so to speak, it just has to heal up, which may take time. Benadryl is classified by the FDA as an antihistamine, so it can help reduce any itching and prevent an allergic reaction. Its typical side effects may possibly include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? They treat the same conditions, but are different medications that work differently. It is common for several to be prescribed to help get a condition under control. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight changes, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've came across a blueish Oblong pill with imprint only on one side S4. Can someone please tell me what it could be? ## Hi Robert, Based on your description the closest match I'm finding is a 25mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride tablet, that is a pink oblong/oval pill with S4 on one side and blank on the other. Apparently it is manufactured by Himprit Pharma Chem, out of india. I also came across a 10mg Simvastatin, red oblong/oval pill with S4 on one side and blank on the other. This one happens to be manufactured by Accord Healthcare. I realize that the color is off on the two pills I just mentioned, but still wanted to post their details in case you or any other readers desired to contact either of these manufacturers, in order to determine whether or not they make a blue vers...

just asking if histal expectorant can be used to treat sinus condition such as nasal congestion, (stuffiness) ## Histal contains the active ingredient Cetirizine, from what I can find listed, so it is not an expectorant, but an antihistamine, used to treat allergies. That said, if something else is causing the congestion, such as a cold, then it will probably not help. Have you consulted a doctor? ## Histal Expectorant contains Chlopheniramine not ceterizine...you may be better off trying Histal DC if your only issue is congestion.

Very hard to find inactive ingredients listed on generic meds. Very allergic, hives swelling of face and tongue. Pharmacy has not been helpful. They switch generic brands from time to time. Very frustrating. ## Hello, Nell! How are you? What are the markings on the medication in question? That is what would enable me to check for you to see if I can find a list of the inactive ingredients for you. I'll gladly research it, if you post back with additional information. Have you informed the pharmacy of your allergy? If you know your allergic to ferric oxide, they can list that in your file and check it against any medications you're prescribed.

my father has cough for more than 3weeks very continuously he will cough and it makes more strain to him, he is an heart and TB patient. he is taking his both disease prescription very seriuosly. before i month i had very serious caugh doctor said i have severe bronchitis so my doctor priscribed me this pantosec with some antibiotic.. can i give my father this pantosec for his serious caugh.. ## First of all, what he can safely take depends on what other medications he is on, so without knowing that, I really can't tell you. As to the Pantosec, this is not a medication to treat coughing. Pantosec contains the active ingredient Pantroprazole, it is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach and help protect it. Your doctor gave it to you...

It says phene 10mg promethazine hydrochloride ## Hello, Imogen! How are you? The FDA actually classifies Promethazine as an antihistamine and it's most commonly used to treat or prevent nausea and vomiting, though drowsiness can be a side effect of it, along with dizziness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi. I live in NSW Australia. I am having monthly CDT blood tests ( measure of alcohol consumption over a monthly basis) The 1st 7 tests have been negative. The last two results where high and I am shattered. I had been really sick with the flu and bronchitis for over 3 weeks. I couldn't eat or sleep and was taking the strongest over the counter cough mixture I could, almost 1 bottle a day just to get some sleep. Plus cold & flu tablets & demazen or phernegan because I was coughing so much & couldn't sleep & I was exhausted. Didn't think at the time and wondering how much they it can influence the test. Thanxt ## Hello, Smiley! How are you? Did you check the ingredients of the cough syrup? The FDA lists many of them as containing alcohol, so that could be what...

Are there any allergy meds that are not prescription that do work and dont affect bp i use to be able to take loradine.but not now ## Hello, Lily! How are you? If your doctor approves, both Benadryl and Allegra can be taken by someone with a heart condition or high blood pressure. I had congestive heart failure 5 years ago and my cardiologist has approved both of them. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. I have been eating allegra 120 since last 1 month. my question is can i eat Tritrab-DSR (rabprazole) antacid. ## Hi Rucha, According to umm.edu, there are no drug interactions listed between Allegra and Rabeprazole. Based off this information alone, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able take these two meds together. The only thing I'm weary of when it comes to using more than 1 medication at a time is that in the event of any side effects (god forbid), it may be difficult to determine which medication is the underlying cause. At any rate, please post back if there's anything else I can help with! ## Hi. When you take any medication too close in proximity, time-wise, to an antacid or a laxative, less of whatever you are taking, gets in your system. You need to s...

I was informed that they are perc 30's. Can someone please help me identify these? ## Hello, Willow! How are you? No, this isn't a prescription medication of any type and you can be sure of that any time you see a pill with 44 on it followed by 3 additional numbers, they are all over the counter products. This one, in particular, is listed by the FDA as containing 4mgs of Chlorpheniramine and 10mgs of Phenylephrine, it's used to treat cold symptoms. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, insomnia and nervousness. Is there anything else I can help with?

what is this medication? I found these in my medicine cabinet in a baggie with dosage instructions, also a note that it is for congestion/cough but nothing to identify what it is, whether it is prescription or over the counter. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? This is an over the counter product that's listed by the FDA as containing 400mgs of Guaifenesin, which is an expectorant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Found these 7mm Round Yellow Pill inverted triangle (rounded corners) with letters K.B. in middle of triangle . Would like to know what they are. Prescription or narcotic? ## I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to find any listing for anything that has this marking and matches your description. That leads me to suspect that it's most likely something that's available over the counter, since those imprints aren't required to be logged with the FDA. I'll keep searching and post back when I find it. Does anyone else know what this tablet contains? ## Round Yellow Pill With K B Inside An Inverted triangle ## Chlorpheniramine - from what I have read they are antihistamines that are sometimes used as sleep aids.
