I have taken TUSSIONEX several times when I've had bronchitis. It really breaks up the congestion and helps with the cough. I got a bottle today and the consistency is like Water. My resolved has always been a thick consistency and gritty. I have a 6 month old tattoo and was prescribed this for my psoriasis. Will this affect the tattoos longevity? ## Hi Dez, I noticed there was another discussion thread here asking a similar question and just wanted to share the link with you: Ref - Can I use triamcinolone cream on my new tattoo I've also read reports from others with tattoos who have used steroid creams and didn't experience any fading. However my personal view is that a fading tattoo would probably come secondary to my health; especially since it can be retouched. Have you considered researching any natural alternatives for psoriasis treatment? My brother used to have psoriasis and had success with light therapy. I'm having now an Allergies since taken micro pills :( it is very itchy I dont know why? can you help me? If it is a problem for you due to sensitivity, or allergic reaction to it, you should make sure to inform your pharmacist, so they can check your medications to make sure you do not receive one that contains it. The FDA warns that opiate narcotics carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. I took a drug test and I failed for opiates. The only thing I took was benadryl. Is it possible? ## I had a urine test at my methadone clinic and I tested positive for opiates. All ive put in my system was benadryl. Ive been googling if it's even possible. Apparently!?

An article by Colorado State University also notes that Codeine (an active ingredient in Iophen) is in fact used in dogs. I would like to know if you have to have a prescription for Acetaminophen, Caffeine, Chlorpheniramine, Hydrocodone,or Phenylephrine? ## Well for a couple of the individual ingredients (such as Caffeine and Acetaminophen) you don't because they are over the counter. But for Hydrocodone or this actual combination of meds then I would say yes, definitely... ## The Doctors are so scared of abuse here that in our small town they will not give you narcotics unless you have been in a serious wreck or have bad kidney stones. Does Albuteral cause false positive results in a drug test for methamphetamines? ## went to my doctor and was given a u.a. that came out as a positive for meth but was just barely so. im on methadone and oxycodone but not using meth,what would couse such a positive on my u.a.? I started taking Nasonex to help clear up an inner ear blockage. Within 30 minutes of taking the spaying it into both nostrils, I became completely fatigued, dizzy and disoriented. It was most noticeable as I stood up and began walking. It felt like something was wrong and I felt anxious and my heart was racing. I checked my blood pressure and blood sugar but they were both normal. I felt better the next morning. I sprayed each nostril in the morning without a noticeable side effect. So I figured that same evening it should be alright to continue. The same symptoms recurred from the previous night, and improved only slightly by bedtime. I slept well, but still feel some of the dizziness. Has anybody else had these side effects? ## Oh yes, I did experience this, and more, when I tried it...

Can I take NY quil when taking benzonatate 100 MG tid? ## @Nellie, According to The University of Maryland's drug interaction checker there aren't any discrepancies listed between Nyquil and Benzonatate. Based on that, I'd suspect that it should be fine to take the two together; especially since Benzonatate is non-narcotic. Your thread title also asks "what is benzonatate" - Benzonatate is described as an oral cough suppressant that's not prone to abuse. It's effects reportedly last anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. And although one side effect of Periactin is a "stimulated appetite", side effects are mere 'possibilities' that don't happen to everyone... so I'm really curious as to why you would think to use an allergy medication to help gain weight instead of more conventional methods such as monitoring the amount of calories you eat throughout the day? I am 31 age old and weight 50 I need weight gain ## I need to gain some weight, I am very skinny. ## Yes i just started taking pericatin. Like 5 days i gained 2pounds already. My doctor prescribed it for cough and sinus headache. He said it would help me sleep. However..it doesn't. I'm really tired and it has not helped my headache or to help me sleep. Should I tell my doctor or just hope the antibiotics help fast. He gave me a steroid shot around 11:30 this morning. Could that be what is keeping me up? ## Hello, Sharon! How are you feeling? Has there been any change? Ironically, all 3 of the medications you've mentioned could cause a headache, as a side effect, according to FDA reports and the steroid can cause insomnia. You should inform your doctor of the issues, but they might feel it best for you to continue and just let the antibiotics do their job.

Just wanted to know can i use triamcinolone acetonide cream on flea bites on my neck. ## Hello, Freddie! How are you? Wow! How many times did they bite you? I've always hated fleas, because they can bite multiple times and they are so hard to get rid of, totally annoying pests. Years ago, I had a cat that became anemic due to flea bites, even though I'd treated him with flea preventatives, they didn't work, after a nice vet bill, I discovered that I needed to use a more potent one on him, and they had me use one for small dogs. As to the cream, it may help with the itching, if your doctor approves of your using it, however, according to the FDA, it may also cause itching as a side effect, along with skin dryness, cracking, burning and rash.
