Where can you get turpin hydrate elixer for mucous relief? ## From what I've read, the FDA banned terpin hydrate back in the mid-1980's. Apparently the reasoning behind this ban was that they were never able to prove it's effectiveness. However, contrary to their opinion on the medication's efficacy, I think many people would still agree that it works better than a lot of the stuff on today's shelf. Have you tried any other approaches for mucous relief in the meantime? They say ginger root is also good for breaking up phlegm and mucus from the respiratory tract...but mixing it with lemon juice and raw honey can be beneficial as well; at least from my own experience. I hope this helps! ## Wonderful news! Turpin hydrate is NOT banned, although it's no longer carrie...

I failed a drug test and the only thing I had taken was over the counter sleep-aids ## This also happened to me TWICE. I go the a clinic where I take methadone and I'm required to take a UA once a month and the past 2 drug test have come back positive for benzos which I haven't taken in years. The only thing that I could actually think of are the sleeping pills I take every night(4 tablets) which are UNISOM and the main ingredient is Diphenhydramine. This is the only medication I actually take other than methadone so it has to be the culprit.

Will co-aleva treat an itchy throat and cough? ## In short, it can, depending on the underlying cause of the itchy throat and cough. Co-Aleva contains Ebastine + Betamethasone. -Ebastine is an antihistamine used for allergies. -Betamethasone is a steroid. If your cough/itchy throat is bacterial or viral, then Co-Aleva may not be a viable option. However, if it's due to allergies or other related immune conditions then I can see why this might be prescribed. Were you able to get any feedback from your doctor?

Last Monday I had my first false/positive drug screen which came up benzos. My counsler said it's from the benadryl most likely not the Advil cold n sinus I took the night before my drug screen . Muy supervisor at the clinic was told the original lab that fulfills our drug screens at the clinic told her it wouldn't be from the benadryl. They took away my take homes while it is being sent out to be tested again.
