I need to know if a diabetic can take atuss hx 300 mg ## Did your doctor prescribe such? If so and you are using it under their supervision you should be fine, they would know to warn you in case of any problems to watch for, so would your pharmacist.

small white pill numbers 4462 engraved into them ## I haven't found anything with that marking on it, but that is because, depending on the dosage, this may be an OTC medication. Those are decongestants, commonly used for cough and cold.

For congestion ## Pannaz Syrup was prescribed to my son when he was 3 1/2. It was the answer to our prayers after 3 yrs of constant ear infections, pus draining constantly from his ears, numerous respiratory infections including pneumonia & bronchitis. In the first 2 yrs of his life, he had 3 sets of tubes and adenoids removed, by 3 1/2 had been on over 65 rounds of antibiotics, was shunned by daycares for pus drainage and the list goes on. After being dx'ed w/ all environmental allergies and being rx'ed Pannaz, things literally stopped happening! Now 4 yrs later, he's only had 6 ear infections and 2 episodes of bronchiospasms that required breathing treatments. This is huge! Unfortunately, it has been recently discontinued and we've just filled our first rx for the ...

Does Fexofenadine contain gluten? I have been suffering with chronic hives and none of my med seem to help. Can anyone help? ## Fexofenadine is exactly that, nothing else, what you need to look at is the other ingredients in the pills, the inactives that are the fillers and binders they use to give the pill significant substance and hold it together in the desire shape and consistency. These 'inactive' ingredients differ, depending on the manufacturer, there are certain standards for what can be used, however, there are many options and the various generic med manufacturers do not all have to use the same ones. That said, with the little information your provided, I cannot tell you what is in those inactive ingredients, as listing is usually available under the professional pres...

Can anyone identify a pink oval tablet with R 194 on it? ## Sorry, I can't find any tablets listed with this imprint. ## I am searching for this also. I was given this as a generic for allegra 180. I am trying to verify that it is a generic fexofenadine. Is that also your circumstance? ## Sorry, I am still searching, I can't find any tablets listed with this marking. In the US prescription drug database, the only thing I am showing with this marking is a capsule that is an antibiotic. The closest I can find is an over the counter allergy tablet with 194 on it, but it is not Allegra or the generic for it, it is Chlorpheniramine. ## Thanks for your efforts!!! After a few hours of research, I did finally find that my tablets are in fact an Allegra 180mg generic. I finally did a goo...

Round Peach Pill one side says 1253 otherside says 93 ## I think what you were referring to is Fexofenadine? I can't find this imprint listed anywhere to confirm what it is, but that is a generic version of Allegra, this is a drug used to treat allergies.

44 194---YELOW ## I found two pills in some Mucinex bottle that looks different then the rest of the pills. They say 44/194 and they are yellow. ## This is Chlorpheneramine Maleate 4mgs, an antihistamine used to treat allergies and allergic reactions. A name brand for them would be Chlor Trimeton, and several others. More than likely the company who made the Mucinex manufactures these as well, since they are also over the counter items, and they just accidentally ended up in the bottle.

round pill scored in a plus suign shape with zc02 on it one letter in each quarter ## That plus sign is actually just a score line to make it easier to divide the pill into several doses, if necessary. This is Promethazine 25mgs, an antihistamine used to alleviate nausea and some anxiety.

Is Phenergan a Narcotic? Can it be taken to help treat withdrawals from pain meds? ## NO Phenergan is not a narcotic, it is an antihistamine, that can treat allergic reactions, nausea, and several other conditions. If some people suffering withdrawal experience nausea, their doctors may prescribe it to help with the nausea, but no, it is not a narcotic and will not help with regular withdrawal symptoms. Please, do not try to treat yourself, this isn't even close to a narcotic or something that can help with withdrawal, self-medicating can be very dangerous. Please speak to your doctor.

Found a white pill with ev 1990 in my nephews room? ## You were actually looking at the pill upside down, this is EV 0661, it is a cold remedy, containing Dextromethorphan 30mgs, Guaifenesin 300mgs, and phenylephring 10mgs, a generic or store brand of Tussex, used as a decongestant and expectorant.

I have lost my voice and have been told that my left vocal chord is not working. Is there any medical data on the reaction. ## Hi Michael....I was diagnosed with a paralyzed vocal cord last November. It took about 5 months to heal, after going into the hospital for a scope and two different physician's opinions. Do not despair. It will heal itself. Take care of your voice. Do not strain it and do not lose hope. ## Only a Dr. who orders tests could tell you what is causing it, whether it will heal and how long it may take.

hiv positive treatment medication ## Please send me detail information about Promephazine including common uses, side effects, and any personal experience with this drug. Also, symptoms and conditions of Promephazine . ## Sorry, this appears to be a foreign drug of some sort. It is not listed in the US databases. Most foreign drugs are not as regulated as those in the US, therefore, the information is not readily available. You should try asking a local doc or pharmacist who could better assist you. In the US, the closest listing we have is an anti-nausea medication called Promethazine, and I don't think that is what you are looking for.

hot pink oval pill no scoring ## what is this pill I cannot find what it is anywhere ## I looked up L479 it says it is an antihistamine. ## Pills marked with an L followed by additional numbers are over the counter products manufactured by LNK International, they do not make any prescription products. These are sold by many stores across the US as their store brands or generics. L 479 is a generic version of Benadryl, Diphenhydramine 25mgs, used to treat allergic reactions, motion sickness, naseau, insomnia and etc. Pill Image

when using benadryl gel can you use benadryl capsules also. I am also using hydroxyzine 10mg. this is for a problem with itching ## Yes, you will not absorb enough from the gel to make a significant difference and cause an overdose, with the topical meds like that, you absorb a very, very small percentage of the ingredients, so you will be fine using the oral med as well. Many docs advise you to do so if the problem continues, and many of them provide stuff with a much higher dosage than what is available in these products, or advise people to double up!
