Is Phenergan a Narcotic? Can it be taken to help treat withdrawals from pain meds?

NO Phenergan is not a narcotic, it is an antihistamine, that can treat allergic reactions, nausea, and several other conditions. If some people suffering withdrawal experience nausea, their doctors may prescribe it to help with the nausea, but no, it is not a narcotic and will not help with regular withdrawal symptoms.

Please, do not try to treat yourself, this isn't even close to a narcotic or something that can help with withdrawal, self-medicating can be very dangerous. Please speak to your doctor.
