I'm looking for an OTC method to control my angioedema. The swelling effects my eyes and face and ALWAYS lasts three days, no matter how much benedryl I take. Is there any help? ## Hello, Denise! Someone gave me a tiny white round pill with "M" on one side inside a square and 5 on the other side. I was told it was albuterol but i'm not convinced. Any ideas? ## Is the 5 above a score line? albuterol tablets price went from 8 dollars to 295 dollars!!! what could i take instead, inhalers also cost too much. Each medication that they can offer for such low prices, such as $4, $8 or $10 are under a contractual agreement with the manufacturer…. an agreement that the manufacturer has the option of ending, once it runs out. Many of them will just renew, but some elect not to and you end up with drastic price changes like this. I am wondering if there are any interactions that I should be aware of with using the Albuterol Inhaler along with Adderall XR for Adult ADD. ## Hi Susan, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Albuterol and Adderall XR. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. On a side note, there are moderately unsafe interactions found between Adderall XR and alcohol: "Alcohol may potentiate the cardiovascular effects of amphetamines." "Concomitant use of amphetamines and alcohol should be avoided if possible, especially in patients with a history of heart disease." My wife's has COPD And is taking Norpace for heart rythm. Is there a conflict? ## Yes, there is actually. Combining these two medications can increase the risk of prolongation of the QT interval, cardiac arrhythmias and elevated blood potassium. accidentally gave my 16 month old 5mg of arbitrol instead of prescribed 2mg every 8 hours. I am a 71 year old male who has been diagnosed as having COPD...The Pulmanologist say my lungs sound pretty clear..I recently had to go the the emergency room because I could not breathe..What was discovered that my blood pressure pills were raised in dosage from 50 MG to 75MG and then to 100MG..My lungs felt like boards and could not breathe...Should I continue to use my albuterol inhaler when needed even though I use a nebulizer for Performomist 2x daily along with Pulmicort Respules 2x daily? my son is taking asthma medication inhaler is abuterol and Quivar he is testing postive, just slightly over the lime 55 ng is this due to the use of the inhalers? ## what chemical is he showing postive for, little more info please ## they did not provide him with that information only than his nanogram level was above the legal limits.
