Hello, Mzmeanez! How are you?

Unfortunately, many pharmacies don't explain how the medication discounts they offer work. Each medication that they can offer for such low prices, such as $4, $8 or $10 are under a contractual agreement with the manufacturer…. an agreement that the manufacturer has the option of ending, once it runs out. Many of them will just renew, but some elect not to and you end up with drastic price changes like this.

There have been several other medications that also changed recently and the prices got really ridiculous.

Learn more Albuterol details here.

However, the only suggestion I can make for finding a cheaper price is to check with different pharmacies in your area. This isn't a controlled substance, so they shouldn't have problem providing you with a price quote.

Have you discussed it with your doctor? They may also be able to prescribe a cheaper alternative medication.
