I don't use adderall regularly but I took a little piece of a 30 prob. 5 or 10mg I have a drug test in 5 days will I pass it? ## I don't take adderall normally but I took a piece about a 5mg late Friday and had a urine drug test on Monday morning. Will I pass? ## I took a 15mg adderall friday night around 11:45pm and have a drug test on monday morning. Will it show up? I've been drinking plenty of fluids and urinating frequently. ## The half life of Adderall is around 10 hours so if you want to be safe try to give yourself a week. Remember that every 10 hours your body will metabolize half of what you took, so it goes from 1 to 1/2 to 1/4 to 1/8 etc every 10 hours. So to Steve in the original post I think you might be okay but the others may have to jump through some hoops. ...

I need help finding a Psychiatrist in the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area who can prescribe Adderall (or something along those lines), a higher dose of anti-anxiety medication, & an anti-depressant. I am a single mother who is having a VERY hard time focusing right now & dealing with some issues of high anxiety & severe depression with my daughter & her 'father', my EXTREMELY abusive ex-husband, who is now abusing his new family & beginning to start on our teenage daughter. I cannot afford a decent attorney but also cannot receive any help because I make too much money. I need help getting through this tough time & my current Psychiatrist has completely changed from when I first started seeing him about 2 years ago. He used to let me just talk to him about any...

They don't work very well on me however I haven't taken any adds in a week could it just be my tolerance ## Hello, Coco! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are no listings for a generic for Adderall with just an E 40 on it. There is one with an E 401 (20mgs) one it and one with an E 404 (30mgs) that are manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceutical. Are you referring to one of these? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so these ones may be slightly lower than the ones you were taking, or you could be tolerant. The FDA classifies this medication as being a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, diz...

Currently on 45 mg a day ... Isn't working well! Don't think my dr will up my rx. Any advice? ## Hello, Elaine! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. It might be time for you to try a different medication. Not all of them work for everyone that tries them. There are several others available that treat the same conditions, such as Concerta, Dexedrine, Focalin and Ritalin. Some are available as time released formulations, so that may also be of better benefit to you. You may want to discuss the issue with your doctor to discover what they consider to be your other treatment options. The FDA lists these medications as carrying the risk of being habit forming and they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia a...

I'm prescribed 25mg xR Adderall, and have been for about a year, year and a half. I absolutely love the stuff, nothing has ever worked for me the way this med does! I've been on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants, I've tried Wellbutrin and Ritalin. Nothing ever worked. But I feel like Adderall kick starts me, and puts me in some kind of "bubble" where I can be productive, stay motivated and focused and the energy! The energy is my favorite part. I don't feel like I'm dragging myself around anymore, I can keep moving without wandering off in my mind or being half asleep. It's great. BUT... as everybody knows it has it's "crash", headaches, nausea, tiredness or laziness, not being able to focus and hunger. I get all of that. Not always the headac...

Today is Friday. I took 3 cor 135 20 mg adderall. I took 2 at 9:20am and then another one at 2:50 pm. So that's 60 mg in one day obviously. But I'm 156 pounds. Work out regularly and drink lots of water. Can someone tell me how long it would take for this to get out of my system? Thank you ## The half life of Adderall is around 11 hours, so that means every 11 hours about half of the original dose will remain in your system. Dividing your original dose by 2s will show 60, 30, 15, 7.5, 3.75, 1.875, 0.9375, 0.46875 .... so let's say about 10 times or more divisions x 11 hours is approx 110 hours or 5 days. I'd say give yourself a week or so. Does anyone else agree or not with my logic?

What is the diagnosis code for adderall? ## Hello, Neda! How are you? Adderall is a treatment for a diagnosis and there are several medical issues that it can be used to treat, so the answer depends on what it's being prescribed to treat. Can you please post back and clarify? Thanks! ## 314.01 ## Adderall is primarily used to treat ADHD, but there are other conditions it can be prescribed for.

I took a stacker 3 this morning an i was wondering later on in the day if its ok if i took a half of addrall will i be ok ## @chollinger, There actually aren't any reliable ways to check for drug interactions between pharmaceutical preparations and OTC fat burners such as Stacker 3, since they don't contain "medically recognized" ingredients to compare upon. However it still seems to me like it would be best to contact your doctor first regarding anything else you intend to take along with what he/she prescribed. This way if there ever are any discrepancies (knock on wood) you and your doctor will at least be on the same page. Personally, I'd be wondering whether the stimulating effects of a fat burner would be too stimulating with the addition of another stimulant l...

I need help finding a doctor in Hawaii that will give me my meds. ## Hello, Zac! How are you? Due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll most likely need to see a psychiatrist to have such a medication prescribed. The FDA classifies these medications as being stimulants that are most commonly used to treat ADHD. They carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and anorexia. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

I've recently been prescribed Adderall by my family doctor, 10mg IR once a day. I'm a week in and noticed very little if any real benefit. I'm leary of going back and talking to her because I know so many abuse it and don't want to appear like a drug seeker. Should I wait for my next month follow up or do you think a phone call would be appropriate. I noticed some very mild improvements but they quickly subsided a couple hours in and left me slightly tired. It seems slightly counterproductive to take them when I'm left worse off than I started. I'm not comfortable increasing my own dose even tho I know many take much higher doses several times a day. I'm not sure what to do about the doctor or my dose. I've never taken a medicine that lasted an entire day...

With out a job how to I get my adderall and zanex so I can get back to work with out having panic attacks? It is still going to take another 13 months for my disability appeal. The depression and not being able to focus is pretty intense. I went inpaient a few time and they perscribed me a bunch of differnt meds i ended up staring at the wall drolling on myself then having siezures. I just need the meds i was on before i was beaten by my ex so I can get back to work. I think once I am doing something productive the depression will go away in time. ## Hi Katherine, I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. I am on Medicaid and having trouble finding a physician who takes it much less one that will treat for ADD. I've been treated by another doctor before and diagnosed with ADD along with other issues but that was with BCBS. Please reply if you know of a Medicaid provider in the Birmingham or St Clair County area who will treat ADD/ADHD & precribe necessary medicine. thank you! ## Hello, Angel! How are you? Most PCPs will not treat such a condition and prescribe the appropriate medications, due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year. I agree with you all in the difference between the peach oval generic pills vs. the orange round generic pills. The oval ones - I stay focused throughout the day at my job with almost no side effects. Recently, my normal pharmacy who I have picked my prescriptions up from for the 7 years switched to the round orange ones. Assuming they were the "same", I took them. The first day I already could notice a HUGE difference! My biggest complaint was the headaches! Not to mention very irritable, fatigue, weakness. I am not sure what the difference is in these two pharmaceutical companies BUT something is not right with those orange round ones. ## There can be some slight fluctuations in generic medications, they are actually allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or ...

I'm looking for a doctor in the Kansas City Missouri area who prescribes Adderall without going through a psychiatrist. ## Hello, Amie! How are you? Technically, any doctor with their license to practice medication could prescribe it, however, due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, most will not and will require you to go to a psychiatrist. To avoid improper prescribing and over prescribing, it's been decided that it's best for specialists to handle the prescribing of such medications. Doctors can, in some cases, prescribe them for existing patients, without any issues, but most have just gone hands-offs. The FDA lists Adderall as a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. It carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause s...

I had ADD, no focus, all-day compulsive overeating, & night heartburn. Now, on 20mg Adderall upon waking, wait 1 hr to eat, then 20mg at 1pm (watch alarm) to get thru day. No other mental/emotional issues, stable life. It wakes up certain part of the brain, foggy/blank before. Used coffee but acid and tolerance buildup were problems. My pulse 60-66, & blood pressure 105/60 ideal, didn't worry about heart problems. Initially my heart raced and leg nerve agitation at night, but current side effects: Vision prescription (nearsighted) worse .25 ea eye, tried Oasis contacts for dryness, but silicon irritated eyes so back to Acuvue 2, wear only 12 hrs. Been taking these generic cor 132 for adhd and they make me feel like crap. Ive got no choice but to try taking them in another form. I dont get new scripts for three weeks. I can't believe I get rolled by the pharmacy company. Now I believe the hype. Lesson learned. ## Hello, Dave! How are you? These tables are manufactured by Core Pharmaceuticals and they list them as containing 10mgs of mixed amphetamine salts, which is a generic for Adderall. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings, weight loss, nervousness and insomnia. What type of problem are you having with them? How are they making you feel like crap?

My urine levels are 23,000 for adderall , i have hep c could this be why they are high ? ## Hi Denise, The presence of hepatitis C affecting your levels could be one theory, depending on the health of your liver. According scholarspace.jccc.edu, both Adderall XR and IR are metabolized through the liver, and from what I could gather, nih.gov also indicates that hepatitis C can result in liver damage (decreased liver function). So putting two and two together, this leads me to believe that liver simply isn't metabolizing the Adderall as quickly; potentially causing it to accumulate with frequent dosing. However, I'd still be interested to hear feedback from other individuals who may going through something similar. I hope this helps!
