Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 56) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?
Re: Jake (# 511)
Coffee or caffeine in general, will have a synergistic effect with adderall. Some will tolerate it well, but those prone to anxiety will likely have their symptoms amplified with that combination.
Within the last three months, I have noticed that Teva’s generic Adderall IR product has improved profoundly in both potency and efficacy.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
As stated in a previous post, I have noticed that their product has improved profoundly within the last 2 to 3 months
Perhaps it is the result of so many people initiating complaints with the FDA.
However, I have indeed noticed a marked improvement in their generic Adderall IR product
Re: James (# 516)
That's good to know!
I flipped a coin on either Aurobindo or Teva this month and Aurobindo won...1st day not bad. The last 6 days nothing...just soooo weak.
I'll try Teva again in February!
Thanks!
Re: Jake (# 511)
I haven't had any anxiety reaction on the Auro, only Barr. The last time they prescribed it oct 2017 it actually put me into a depression though. Got my order filled with Auro again and haven't had any problems. Everyones body will be different though.
I was put on Adderall in November, 2017.
I went to Rite Aid and got my prescription filled, they gave me the Aurobindo brand.
It was very strong, like speedy strong. 20 MG IR, it had the "U30" imprint on it.
It took my body at least a week to get used to it. My body ached at first.
The next month, I called some Pharmacies and found a Mom and Pop place that had "Sandoz". I'm guessing it is left over.
I have to say, Sandoz was so much smoother and less speedy as Aurobindo.
The Sandoz had the "E 401" imprint and is an orange color.
The Aurobindo was good, if you were very tired and had to get up.
I prefer Sandoz. I will keep getting it filled, till they run out of it.
It's too bad Sandoz isn't making it anymore.
Re: Josh (# 524)
I totally agree the price is NOT equivalent to the efficacy of the brand vs Generic Teva but it's clearly a more effective Med than Generic. Perhaps you are seeking more than Med and something more?
I'm on Aurobindo this month and they basically are weak.
Next month? Not Sure but it will not be adderall brand Teva as Express Scripts will not cover it at all...its like the fox guarding the henhouse...this insurance companies are not clueless.
Dilly dilly! Dilly dilly... dilly, dilly, and dilly!
Re: Hamster (# 525)
Well the Doc wrote me a new script for my 20mg IR Adderall to be filled from CVS rather than Walgreen. I had assumed that something must have recently happened with the Teva brand, but unfortunately the Aurobindo is having no effect on me as well. I'm just as a sleepy and scatter-brained on the drug as I am off it. At this point I have to assume my Doctor was right- The sudden change must be with me, not the drug. I can't think of any life changes that occurred around the time the drug stopped working, but then not all neurological fluctuations may not simply knock at the door and introduce themselves, do they?
An ignorant mind is like a gun without ammo, so looks like more research is needed in order to win this fight.
Re: Linds (# 536)
Hi
Just filled Teva Generic 30 mg this morning instead of the Aurobindo and I must of received a fresh batch (Walgreens) as they are markedly more potent and effective than those lousy Aurobindo's.
Perhaps with all the complaints their quality control procedures have improved?!
We're all different so take this as my personal opinion only.
Good luck!
This new script of Teva Generics I picked up Friday are exponentially way more speedy than ever and I have induced an anxiety in me I have not seen in years...will severely cut dose until next refill.
Re: Linds (# 536)
If you have insurance see if they have a home delivery pharmacy and what they are carrying
Re: Alex (# 521)
I am getting them in Pa at every pharmacy. mom n pop shops switched me to these when the good teva 30mg went away. I also just got a mfg.Mal not sure what that is but I need to find something like the old teva salts. from Pottstown pa
Re: James (# 540)
Hi.. I have been on adderall for years wotj many times taking more than written on days needed because of the inconsistency with ACTIVE ingredients. This is the first month in months that i was given teva 20mg tablet (football shape) I'm in Ohio and had it filled at Giant Eagle. Im prescribed 20 tablet 4x daily. Total 80mg. I have actually taken less this month not intentionally at all. I looked at my bottle and its Teva.. just thought i would share. Peace & Soul, D
Does anyone know how true hot pink 20mgs are back on market? I used to get 30mg hot pink corepharma until they got discontinued.. Can anyone verify this. I will lower my mg to get the kind like corepharma had
Re: Jimbo81 (# 544)
Its my favorite. Was on pink thirties from corepharma that got discontinued andbrn March of last year i was given this brand Sun for first time..Very good. The thirties have been back ordered since the beginning of this year tho unfortunately..
Re: James (# 540)
I agree. I think they are rignt in middle right now. Aurobindo and Mallinckro are worst at bottom... I have tried Tevas thirty mg lately due to backorder of Sunpharms addies (my favorite works best for me) teva seems to of improved or it could be after Mallickro my tolerance got out of wack..
Re: Hamster (# 547)
Thanks. They worked wonders for my ADD for many years. I found one remotely as good, called Sun pharma, but they have been put on backorder twice within 12 mos.. Right NOW it is going on nearly 2 mos back ordered, so, i better not get too attached to sun pharma.. Hopefully, the 30 mg corre pharm pinks return! Please update me, if anyone gets these or knows positively they are back. Thank you for taking time to inform me. :)
Re: km (# 548)
I had no idea those were the CorePharma ones, that I never trued.
I kept looking up reviews on Impax 20 IR, but could barely find anything and believe me I searched. Almost every page had info about the XR's.
Maybe I'll get lucky another day!!
