Adderall Manufactured By Teva Not Working (Page 39)

Updated

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA?

Well, there’s good news. There IS something we can do.

Several years back, the FDA investigated generic Wellbutrin XR because over a hundred people reported it on FDA’s website MedWatch.

It’s time to uprise and call them out. Please make your voices heard.

Here's the thing though. It does not matter how many voices are heard, we are up against the FDA, okay. They do not care about me or you. They do not give out information, there is a reason why all these "generic unequivalents" are allowed to be manufactured in countries that we infiltrate "weapons of mass destruction" and seren gas children for oil for. People on these threads--let's stop preaching to the choir. The last thing the middle east needs is another proprietary resource blown up, so stop calling them. Let’s focus on the individuals responsible for Okaying the non-regulation of our generic medications without sounding like crackheads. Let’s outsmart them and claim we all take it for narcolepsy which furthermore puts public safety and our healthcare system at risk. SO, for you all I have taken time to research some real information:

Google this: "FDA HELPING SMALL BUSINESSES GET BIG RESULTS."

Read up on CDER SBIA and what their “roles” are inside the FDA as the highest ranking officials working solely on generic medication and sharing the wealth to help economies? The NEW YORK TIMES wrote this last year y’all, and moderators—I AM QUOTING… You all want some answers on your insurance questions about them making us take brand/generics…Read this article just from 4/2018 - Source: nytimes.com/2017/08/06/health/prescription-drugs-brand-name-generic.html

If we want to be heard we need to bombard these people:
-Christine Baeder, senior vice president for customer and marketing operations at Teva
-Brenda Stodart, Pharm.D. Captain, United States Public Health Service, Program Director at the FDA’s CDER Small Business and Industry Assistance Program, Division of Drug Information

I already emailed Renu Lau to see if she would have a conversation with me through Linked In, but she is based out of North Carolina. Oh, and get this. I clicked on this link ON THE FDA’s WEBSITE: CDER Small Business and Industry Assistance (CDER SBIA) Contacts. FDA has representatives who exclusively help small businesses whose products are regulated by FDA. These individuals can provide information that clarifies how agency laws and regulations apply to specific circumstances and suggest methods of meeting those requirements. They can respond to inquiries, conduct or participate in workshops and conferences, or vi.

Re: Connie (# 764) Expand Referenced Message

You’d click the button for Consumer/Patient and file a report. :)

This is the same form that made the FDA investigate Wellbutrin XR and just a step to bring notice to this. It’s going to take time and voices for this to happen. The below information provided is good as well.

By the way, I do take Adderall for Narcolepsy. There are many that do, since it’s FDA approved for Narcolepsy. I’m still seeing reports from other patients on Adderall IR from TEVA that they aren’t working compared to other brands.

For those looking for a good substitute in the mean time, Adderall XR is manufactured by a different company. TEVA doesn’t manufacture Dextroamphetamine as well, which is the main ingredient in Adderall. If you’re clutching at straws, ask your doctor about those options. I’ve also heard excellent things about Vyvanse.

Re: WTFFDA (# 757) Expand Referenced Message

As someone who has been on Adderall for over 10 years and taken various generics, there is no difference between generics. No, there is no conspiracy by the FDA. The reality is that Amphetamines are highly addictive, and the majority of users end up chasing the euphoria, rather than enjoying the functional benefits of treating their ADHD. I honestly feel bad for pharmacists and employees at the FDA that have to deal with drug seekers.

Re: JoshuaChrist (# 768) Expand Referenced Message

Nope, not true.

You could blindfold me and give me a Teva one day and give me a different generic the next and I could tell you which is which.

Teva gives me a horrible headache and anxiety. It has nothing to do with chasing a high, it has to do with wanting medication to do it’s job without horrible side effects.

I have stopped taking the medication all together the last two months because it has been so bad.

JoshuaChrist,

You obviously failed to educate yourself before making such an ignorant comment.

I'm sure there's a forum for you somewhere.

I am done with amphetamine salts in general. I have to say I never had these issues with ritalin/metadate when I was a child until high-school. I guess I am with ritalin now.

Re: Linds (# 769) Expand Referenced Message

That's good that you were able to stop for 2 months. Now try the same pills you thought were ineffective, or gave you side effects, and you'll find the euphoria that you are seeking again. Your tolerance should've have gone down a bit by now.

Re: Worldisfull (# 770) Expand Referenced Message

I'm more than just educated, I'm experienced. I've taken every single generic that is out there. Other than Aurobindo having a slightly amplified side effect profile due to my allergies to a dye in their 20mg formulation, all Adderall generics have been equally effective in my experience.

Re: JoshuaChrist (# 772) Expand Referenced Message

I am not planning on taking them again smart ass.

I have never sought euphoria, I have sought relief for my ADD, which I had until Teva was the only brand I could get.

Re: Linds (# 774) Expand Referenced Message

That's okay, every seeks happiness in one way or other. I choose prayer myself. You might want to try something other than Adderall, because that's a rough road to chase euphoria down.

Right, which if you read my post, you would see that I am not going to be taking it any longer.

It’s not worth the side effects.

I was taking a low dose, 10mg’s 2 x a day. As soon as Teva became the only option the difference was night and day. My doc thought I had grown used to the 10mgs, so he bumped me to 20’s. I was losing my mind after 4 days, stopped taking it and asked to go back to 10’s. Last month I had enough. I needed something that helped me, and teva clearly wasn’t the answer. The brain fog was awful! Seemed like it worked for 2 hours, then complete lack of ability to think. He suggested Mydayis, and I’ve now been taking that for 3 weeks. Night and day difference. So glad I didn’t settle for a bad medication!

Re: Linds (# 776) Expand Referenced Message

Have you tried the Mylan generic brand? After bad experiences with Aurobindo and Teva, I had almost lost hope as well. My most recent fill was with Mylan (20mg) at CVS, and after two weeks on it I'm thinking I've found my new favorite generic. I'm getting great focus, calm energy, and a pleasant mood boost, while no side effects other than a little dry mouth. None of the anxiety, depression, and panic that Aurobindo and Teva gave me. I did however lower my dose to 15mg because the full 20mg of Mylan felt a little strong. Nothing alarming or uncomfortable, but to be honest it felt a little too good, and I didn't want to do any work, just listen to music and talk to people lol. Tbh at 15mg I feel great and productive, and see no reason to take the full 20mg.

Re: JoshuaChrist (# 772) Expand Referenced Message

You are not educated. Your own personal experience does not educate you on the manufacturing process of generic drugs, recalls, variance of quality and ingredients, etc. What you are spewing is personal experience and opinions. Not facts. Your shared observations and accusations are as ridiculous as your claims of being educated on a topic you clearly are not.

This forum is for people discussing problems with generic adderall manufactured by Teva. You are unable to comprehend and maintain the topic of this forum much less contribute useful information to the subject being discussed. Please go find somewhere that your "imput" would be appreciated. I'm not alone when I say it certainly isn't here.

Re: ADSMHD (# 775) Expand Referenced Message

While you're "seeking through prayer" you should also seek forgiveness for being a hypocritical liar.

BELOW IS YOUR POST ON SEPT. 11TH 2018 ON A DIFFERENT FORUM IN MEDSCHAT WHERE YOU ARE SEEKING OUT A SPECIFIC ADDERALL MFG.

Care to comment now on "chasing euphoria" and being addicts that you accused others of doing simply for discussing bad quality generics???
