Adderall Drug Test Small Dosages

I took adderall 30mg XR once in june and will take one more in sept (just one time in sept). It helps me focus when i take practice exams for my career (exam days are about 8 hours). I have read that after 5 days it will be pretty much gone - is this true? Will the quantity i have taken show up on a hair drug test? Will the small amount i have taken show up on a drug test (urine) if i have waited 5 or more days after taking it to take the urine test?

Long story short. My husband asked a guy he works with for a couple of Ibuprofen. He said the only kind he had was the prescription Ibuprofens from his doctor. My husband took it and after he started to not feel good he asked the guy about it. He laughed and then told him it was Adderall. My husband has since quit this job. If he only used it once will this show up in a hair follicle test?

i have a doctors appointment next tuesday im on 30mg inthe morning and 20mg at 1pm i have got 1/2 of 20mg left if i take the same morning i do the test will it show to get my refills

That is completely untrue. Amphetamine IS adderall. Adderall is made of Amphetamine salts. Methamphetamine shows up as Methamphetamine. They are two different things and most drug tests will test for both of these in two separate categories. For the people who are taking adderall and testing negative, you are lucky. But most tests DO test for adderall and unless you are one of the lucky few, you will come up positive if you take it. Adderall has a half life. Meaning every 12 hours after taking it 1/2 will be left in your system. So if you take 30mg at 9am, then at 9pm you will have 15mg in your system, then at 9am the next day you will have 7.5 mg and so on until it is undetectable. Other factors also affect how long it stays in your system such as your metabolism, how your body metabolizes the drug, how much fluid you drink, your weight, etc. So you also can not completely rely on the 1/2 life rule. If you have a legitimate prescription for adderall then all you have to do is bring that prescription with you to your drug test, then it won't matter that you're urine is positive for amphetamines.

I took adderall 3 days in a row to study for finals. In total i took 4 30 mg pills (of adderall) over 3 days.. Last week I got drug tested by my school. So it was about 30 days after I took them. According to the website of the testing place, they can detect it up to 90 days back. How likely is it that I fail? And how likely is it that hydrocodone will show up after 50 days? I took 10x 7.5 mg hydros.. I really appreciate your help. I've been stressing about this for the past week.. Thank you so much!!

I took a drug screen and it came back abnormal. It was diluted and detected low levels of adderall 220mg. Now they want want me to do a confirmation test. Will this be able to detect adderall?

Completely wrong. I'm in the military and get drug tests on a regular basis. I also took one for a pre-employment drug test. Adderal always shows up on the test.
Military are urine tests the other was a saliva test.

I'm surprised.just like some others, I too was RX'd Adderal. Just about every drug test at my psychiatrist (the prescribing Dr.) it NEVER shown up! Even taking it an hour b4 a test so it would show! I suppose it's just depending upon our metabolism. That's a trip it shown so long after taking it!

I am in the military. I have been percribed 2 10 mg XR ( adderall) a day one in the AM and one in the afternoon. I take my meds everyday as percribed. BUT I have had 3 UA not show my meds.
I am 5'3" and 133 lbs. I am very active from running 3 to 4 days a week plus whatever exercise we do that day. I drink anywhere from a half gallon to a gallon of water everyday. I do use the restroom ALOT.JUST wondering if this has anything to do with my adderall not coming up in my UA

Yes it will! I drank lots of water cranberry juice ago pills ect. Still failed but it was less than 48 hours after taking that I had test. Good luck. Hope you do better than I did

That is not correct at all. I've tested postive for amphetamines MANY times in my urine tests. If I take a small dose (I'm talking 5mg for a few weeks), I'm usually ok after 1 week. But even then - it could show up. It's the metabolites they test for, so it really depends on how sophisticated the test is that your doctor uses. Unfortunately, my urine tests are VERY sensitive and very specific!
