Adderall Drug Test Small Dosages

I took adderall 30mg XR once in june and will take one more in sept (just one time in sept). It helps me focus when i take practice exams for my career (exam days are about 8 hours). I have read that after 5 days it will be pretty much gone - is this true? Will the quantity i have taken show up on a hair drug test? Will the small amount i have taken show up on a drug test (urine) if i have waited 5 or more days after taking it to take the urine test?

There is no hard and fast rule for the detection times, it can vary depending on the individual and the many factors relevant to their own metabolism.

As to a test showing how much you have taken, that will depend on the type of test. There are some that just check for the presence of a substance and there are others that check the actual levels.

For urine, in most people, Amphetamines are detectable for up to 5 days, after taking them. In a hair test, it is anywhere from 90 days to a lifetime.

Bring your original bottle with the prescription label to the people giving the drug test. They will wave any thing in your blood/urine related to your prescription. Just be honest.

i go to a suboxone clinic once a monthme ,last month I ask the doctor if she could help me with adhd meds and set me up with a expensive doctor and long hours of testing.but I went to my family doctor and ask him if he could treat me ,he said yes and gave me 20mg to take everyday.i want to know how long should I stop using before going back to suboxone clinic for urine test(the kind they send off)please help i do not think my suboxone dr will like me getting adderall from family dr.I have been tested for adhd over 10 yrs ago but about 3yrs ago i just stopped taking it,but I think I still suffer from adhd.

WELL MY DR SET ME UP WITH A REAL EXPENSIVE DOCTOR THAT I HAVE TO PAY 750.00 FOR TESTING AND EVALUATION. BUT I HAD TO GO TO FAMILY DR ANYWAY FOR PHYSICAL SO I ASK HIM IF HE COULD GIVE ME THE ADDERALL BUT I ASK HIM TO LOWER MG.I USEDTO TAKE 30MG TWICE A DAY AND THE NEW DR GAVE ME 20MG ONCE A DAY (SORRY ABOUT ALL CAPS I DID NOT NOTICE UNTIL TOO LATE

I take Adderoll 20mg 2 1/2 tabs everyday faithfully and I was drug tested(urine sample) for work and it did not show up at all. At the time of the test I had been taking them everyday for 7 months, even the doctor was surprised.

My daughter began taking Adderall one month ago, (10 milligram dose) and was tested last week and it came up negative for Adderall. She took them daily and is a little on the heavy side and had been trying to shed some weight and so cut out all soda and was only drinking water and tea. Why didn't the Adderall show up in her screen?

I'm sorry folks but adderal don't show up on most urine or hair test. I take a drug test every month at my pain clinic. I take adderal daily sometimes Ans the day before and day of test and it never test positive. I thought it was just the type of test they use but then after going through custody battle had to take hair test and urine. This time the urine was sent to a lab where thy use gas to detect the actual amount in your system. Against negative. I'm not the only one. Only people I hear saying you will fail is people giving advice to someone scared they gonna fail. But people who actually take the drug test, I've never once found someone who tested positive if that is all thy are taking. For whatever reason adderal don't show up. Amphetamine will so if you take speed or crank or meth you will. But the synthetic stuff just doesn't show as a real ampetamkne. Don't know why, but I'd you think I'm wrong then find me someone who did test positive and I show you someone who wasn't just taking adderal.

IVE BEEN TAKING ADDERALL XR 20 3X A DAY, FOR 8 YRS DAILY FOR ADD. I GET A URINE DRUG TEST MONTHLY AT MY JOB, AND EVERY MONTH I HAVE TO BOTHER MY DR FOR A NOTE EXPLAINING MY CONDITION, AND THAT I HAVE A VALID PRESCRIPTION WRITTEN BY HIM. I DONT DRINK ALCOHOL OR DO ANY OTHER DRUG AT ALL.
SO ANYONE READING THIS DO NOT BELIEVE THIS POST. HE IS WRONG.....

I have shown positive For amphetamines when given a urine test,& i take adderall every day 30mg twice daily.So im really surpisedto hear that.Now mabye the testing that i had to do was more extensive because im in the military but it definately showed up and even though i have a presciption i still had to go through all kinds of b.s to not get in trouble For it.

All of these responses have been helpful, so thank you all for that. I am just specifically asking... If I took 30mg Adderall on Sunday, another 10mg Adderall on Monday, NONE on Tuesday, and Today is Wednesday, the day of my drug test.. Will the Adderall show up on my drug test?

I take adderall 30mgs twice a dayas prescribed, but i havent taken any in a few weeks,i havent had any and i have less than a quarter put back maybe a little less than a quarter or a 30mg. I need to know that it will show up on my drug screen. How do i go about this and do i have enough??? Its a urinalisis so i am pretty sure bc it doesnt show levels....any advice please???? Thanku!

swims gerbil is perscribed adderall, and every month he gets DT. its one of the few drugs in/not in his system that actually DOES show up correctly 99% of the time.

SWIM has almost no faith in the "instant test" anymore. But FYI, for swim, it usually takes about 12 hours to show up, and 3-5 days to clear out swim's system.

Adderall, WILL MOST DEFINITELY SHOW UP ON A DRUG TEST. I AM A CHEMIST AND KNOW THIS FOR SURE. It is not the adderall itself that shows up, but rather its' metabolite, which is similar to the metabolite of meth-amphetamines in chemical structure. However, once you test positive, a more scientific and accurate analysis can and will be completed; which will identify the exact metabolite. If it is Adderall that is detected it will be identified rather than the meth or crank metabolite. Although they are similar in chemical structure, they do differ in the metabolites they produce which is what drug tests detect. In summary, with a broad spectrum drug test YES Adderall WILL test positive, however notify the drug testing facility and they will complete a more accurate anaylisis and they will be able to detect the exact metabolite, which differentiates between meth/crank verse Adderall.

I infrequently take Adderall, but for the past week and a half I have been taking 10mg most days because I was studying for the GRE. I was just drug tested (urine sample) in order to volunteer at a local hospital, and they called to tell me the test was positive for Adderall. So, YES, even small amounts of Adderall might show up on a drug test.

You are so wrong dude...I got a few addoral from and friend to study for a test. I took them got popped for a drug screen the next week and it showed up. The lab called me and asked if I had a script I said no and I was fired that aftetnoon. IT DOEA SHOW UP!""

you might have been given the sugar pill. this is often substituted for the real thing. this is called the placebo effect. typically the sugar pill ranges from 10-20 mg. If it is an oval shaped pill it is much more likely to be the placebo. however, if you have the Xr capsules that have individual balls of dextro-amohetamine, it is not a sugar pill

Long story short. My husband asked a guy he works with for a couple of Ibuprofen. He said the only kind he had was the prescription Ibuprofens from his doctor. My husband took it and after he started to not feel good he asked the guy about it. He laughed and then told him it was Adderall. My husband has since quit this job. If he only used it once will this show up in a hair follicle test?
