Adderall Backorder (Page 73)

I take generic Adderall 20 mg for narcolepsy and there is not one local pharmacy that has it in stock. I have never had this problem before. The pharmacies are saying that it's on backorder from the manufacturer. Is anyone else having problems getting their scripts filled?

I'm just outside of Grand Rapids. I'm not sure if it may be a manufacturer based location thing, but I am all good with Costco and using Goodrx. Also, I could use my insurance there if I chose. You don't even have to be a member. Try that if you so choose.

I wrote this previously, but here's some info for you too. I'm just outside of Grand Rapids and have excellent results with Costco. I use goodrx (site or app) for great prices and a listing based on prices of places to go for it. I haven't found a time Costco isn't in stock. I only take Teva brand sometimes I have to get a partial order though. You don't have to be a Costco member and if you want because it just may be cheaper, you can use your insurance too.

I've been on my Adderall approx. 9 years,,The good honest people with true medical conditions,, Suffer because of the people who make bad choices., Most insurance, Dr's, etc. police your medications. I'm okay with that, We should be in a different category. From the abusers.

Same here in Virginia Beach, I take 20mg 3 times a day. For the last 3 months I’ve had to call around to every pharmacy in the area and hope I find it. But I’m striking completely out today. No one has it and they all say it’s backordered

I was told same thing by CVS, Walgreens and Walmart back order issues. In St. Petersburg Fl. My pharmacist suggested changing to Another med. Adderall is out

I had called every pharmacy within 50 miles of my home when a friend suggested I call my local health department. Surprisingly enough, most have independent pharmacies located in their main branches. I was able to get my prescription filled today of 30 mg 90 count (Sandoz) with no wait and no problem.

I called a pharmacy on Monday and I was told that they have them and that a new shipment was coming in Tuesday. I’ve had my Dr. Re-write my script 3x. I show up on Tuesday and I give my name. First the pharmacist has my name and info. I’ve never been to this pharmacy before. She asks if my script is for adderall and I said yea, then she tells me she doesn’t have my script - then how did she know my info and it was for adderall? She tells me to wait a minute and starts the whispering while staring at me. BS. She comes back to tell me that there’s none and the guy she was talking to is lighting uppp his keyboard. This guys fingers were clicking and smoking away. He comes up to me and says that he’s gonna go check the safe to see if there’s any. A minute later he comes back and says there’s none in the safe. I never knew that meds were kept in a safe for rainy days. So now I’m just waiting. My original pharmacy is currently “temporarily closed”, I just need my meds and I’m going on a week tryna hold it together.

This happened to me at Walmart years ago and they actually gave it to me. But it was a whole shady thing.

It's really simple now... You walk into the pharmacy and speak to the pharmacist. "hi Jen. How are you? I'm so sorry to bother you but could you please check if you have this? No? Would you be so kind as to check your system right now for availability because I gladly come back in a day or two when your shipment comes in."

SRSLY. It's like applying for a job.

I have severe narcolepsy too, and I literally havre been asleep for the past 3 days.... this is not only torture but it is probably really dangerous. I feel your pain, I too cannot function. And there is no adderall in the city of Dallas at Walgreens as of current. (or at least the 18 i've called so far) and I don't think I have it in me to call one more bc if I have to listen to that hold music one more time I might jump in front of a bus. Hope you have luck!

I'm in Milwaukee, WI and apparently the TEVA generic Adderall 30mg is completely out of stock/unavailable according to Walgreens. They have no idea when it'll be available again. Any idea if TEVA is available at another national pharmacy like CVS, Walmart, etc?

It's not Teva, but I've had good success in the past few months at getting Sandoz from CVS, which is a solid generic imo. I'm on the East Coast, though.

Most people here are having terrible time with CVS and Walgreens. I haven't read one issue arising from Walmart, the 3rd largest retail Pharmacy in the US. Maybe I missed it. But if almost everyone is going to CVS and Walgreens, makes sense that a different outfit could be more helpful.

Wow, you are harsh. I find it interesting to know you can "tell" a person is lazy from reading a little blurb written on the forum.
1. Adderall is not a narcotic, it is a stimulant
2. There was prescription methamphetamine long before people began cooking their own. I know because I took it along with thousands of truck drivers in the 1960s, 1970s.
3. Non-medical terms are sometimes used to describe psychological conditions that do not have a diagnostic term of their own but are associated with a diagnosis like ADHD. Neurodivergent is one. Executive dysfunction is another that is a symptom of ADHD and a major hindrance to me for getting things done.

Rcma, the Walmart here takes days to fill a prescription. Even for blood pressure meds. They are so busy. I haven't been in Walmart since the covid pandemic began

I am going to try one more time with my new pharmacy next week to see if they can get Lannett. I called last week but the pharmacist I had spoken to had just left. Her husband(co-owner) just put me off with the same stuff others stores say. "We can only get what they send.". If I can't get Lannett, I will try for 30mg Teva, or just to keep my spot in line suffer through another month of 20 mg Teva.. I haven't set one foot outside my home since last weekend. About once a week, I am stimulated enough to go to grocery store. I save pills to take on that day.
