Active And Inactive Ingredients
UpdatedHello,
I'm newly diagnosed with a corn allergy/intolerance. I've noticed my symptoms exacerbate when I take my morning medicine, which included Propranolol. Could you please tell me if corn of any corn byproducts or corn derivatives are in this medication. Since I've read that it's often in the capsules, it's making me concerned. And if it does contain corn can you tell me which Beta Blockers do not contain corn so I can pass the information on to my Doctor. Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

Can you please post back and let me know the manufacturer of the Propranolol you take, or the markings on them?
There are various inactive ingredients that manufacturers can use. Since this is a generic medication, it is made by several different companies and they don't all use the same inactive ingredients.
