It's actually quite the opposite, I don't believe you'll find a doctor anywhere that's going to tell you to sit down and not exercise for fear of making it worse.
Exercise is vital to staying healthy, even when you have such a disease.
There are even some people who manage to keep it in control for years solely with a good healthy diet and proper exercise.
