Aches And Pains From Cymbalta?

Been on cymbalta for 2 years. Switched from lexapro to cymbalta to treat anxiety disorder. The during the 6 months transition to cymbalta, I began having very tight muscles in my calves and feet, a constant electrical buzzing sensation in my legs and feet, arm and wrist pain, chills. I thought they'd go away once I got used to cymbalta. Two years now (60 mg) and I still get buzzing sensations and stiff cramps calf and foot muscles. Every few weeks I experience a few days of joint pain, esp wrists and hands,and achy feet when I get up , especially balls of feet and ankles. Feet and hands also burn now and then. Yoga and walking daily seem to help. I have body chills and also muscle twitches in calves every day. Had none of this prior to cymbalta. Has anyone had such symtoms while taking this drug? I am not talking about withdrawal symptoms, although my symptoms are common during withdrawal, from what I've read

Those symptoms are listed as possible side effects of this medication, by the FDA. Others may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes.

However, since they never went away, which most side effects usually do, this may not be the right medication for you to take. Have you informed your doctor? You may need to try something else.

Thank you Verwon. My doctor says she's never heard of these symptoms caused by Cymbalta. However you and I can find this info on the web! It's so frustrating.
