i would like some information on tramacet as in benefits, side effects, if it is narcotic or not and which is a better pain killer that wont cause a dependancy ## Tramacet contains Acetaminophen and Tramadol. Under the FDA in the US, Tramadol is classified as a narcotic. The reason for this is because while it works as an anti-inflammatory, it does have the addictive properties of a narcotic. As to what won't cause dependency: anything you put in your body on a regular basis for a long period of time will cause dependency, be it regular over the counter Ibuprofen or your morning cup of orange juice.
