I recently was thrown from my horse and have pretty bad pain. My tailbone was broken in three places. I no longer have a script for pain but a friend of mine gave me a couple of pain pills that are different. One says Watson 853 on it and the other looks the same (oblong white) but it has #176 on it. I can not find this exact pill anywhere. Does anybody know exactly what it is? It has 44 148 on one side and 500 on the opposite side and is a white round pill. It's hepatic negative effects should not be augmented by alcohol or acetaminophen especially in larger doses and duration of use. I would strongly recommend getting labs done especially a hepatic panel every six months. I use (1) tablet BID and over the course of (4) years have developed several liver cysts the largest being 35 x 15 mm. As a lifetime non-drinker and almost non user of acetaminophen ever, the evidence seems to be compelling. Bute is an extremely effective NSAID for some. I do my homework and obtain full panel labs bi-anually. Thank You.
