I recently was thrown from my horse and have pretty bad pain. My tailbone was broken in three places. It's hepatic negative effects should not be augmented by alcohol or acetaminophen especially in larger doses and duration of use. I would strongly recommend getting labs done especially a hepatic panel every six months. I use (1) tablet BID and over the course of (4) years have developed several liver cysts the largest being 35 x 15 mm. As a lifetime non-drinker and almost non user of acetaminophen ever, the evidence seems to be compelling. Bute is an extremely effective NSAID for some. I do my homework and obtain full panel labs bi-anually. Thank You.
