Accidentally Took A Double Dose Of Pristiq (Top voted first)

I am new to taking pristiq and have been taking 100mg for around 3 weeks. Initially my script was for 50mg so I was taking 2. When I got my next script filled I didn't realise they were 100 mg tablets and I accidently took 2 each day for 3 days before I realised they were 100mg, so for 3 days I have taken 200mg rather than 100mg and now I know why I was feeling extremely nauseous and dizzy. I have now just continued taking the 100mg as per normal but am feeling very strange, agitated and dizzy. Has anybody done this before? Should the symptoms settle quickly?

I am on 50mgs of Pristiq daily. I had a headache and went to reach for the Motrin and accidentally grabbed my Pristiq. I only took one tab. This was about 5 hrs after the first dose. Should I be worried? Anxiety is sky high over it.

I accidentally doubled my dose of Pristiq to 200 mg by mistake for about a week until I found out and read the bottle. I’m just feeling really scared and shaking now. Will I be ok?

I took 2 25 mg by mistake and felt tired but ok. You feeling any better.

Yes, the symptoms should settle down, but it may take a week or two.

Typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes.

If they don't taper off, then you should speak to your doctor.
