Accidentally Gave My Mom 50mg Of Atenolol 2x
UpdatedHi, my mom was prescribed 50mg of Atenolol to take every morning. I did as always but today I accidentally gave her another dose of it, mistaking it for her other diabetic medicine. Any problem with that?

Taking too much Atenolol could result in worsening side effects, which may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, and increased lowering of blood pressure, and heart rate.
Thus, it is best to keep an eye on the person to watch for any danger signs, such as problems breathing, dizziness, fainting, or extreme fatigue.
Please double check with your respective doctors to be sure of what you should do.
Are you on any other medications?
