I was just given Ritalin to take for concentration and depression. Does anyone take it for that? Has anyone had success with this medication? What about bad side effects? ## Hello, Candy! My 11 y/o is on Adderall and when I went to CVS the other day, was told they don't have any. I have called two other pharmacies to find out they don't have it either. This happened a couple of years ago and we couldn't get any for weeks. It seems there is no recourse or way around this problem, and it is shocking that no one (Dr, pharmacy, pharmaceuticals) seems to be in touch with this issue of how it affects the patient when all of a sudden they do not have their medication. The body should be weaned slowly and an abrupt discontinuation can really affect the patient. We try to not give him Adderall one or two days over weekends whenever possible, and then store the extra. In our case, we are lucky at this time that we have some back-up! ,I need to find a doc. To prescribe ritalin, i have been on it since the age of 9yr,s old, I just moved from Boston 6 months ago,to Fort Pierce Florida. is this possible? I see everywhere online that 70 mg is the max daily? Aetna will only pay for 30 pills a month, not 60. I believe her physc is reckless, he also scribes her viibryd, and klonipin from a different doc she takes about 2 10/325 of precoctes, and applies a 25mg fentynal patch every 24hrs. Addicts like the way certain medications make them feel, such as energetic or high, but those are only temporary side effects that eventually wear off, so they keep having to take more and more to get those effects back....

Just picked up Rx from pharmacy for Adderall 10mg. ER. The capsule is only 1/3 full. Is this right? I am on a suboxen program and I take 2.5 a day. I took a 20mg adderal this morning (Saturday) and will take another one to tomorrow (Sunday) I have to have a urine test done Tuesday in the late morning. Will the aderall show up in my urine test. If yes and I don't take the other one tomorrow will the one I just took today show up on urine test Tuesday (note this is the 1st time that I have taken any aderall I'm about a week). Please help I was addicted to vicodine for years and was up to 25 a day (10/325).I don't want to be kicked out of the suboxen program for 1 or 2 adderalls. I am a regular methamphetamine user. I recently went for a job interview & had taken precautions for a urine test just in case they tested me. After the interview they gave me a mouth swab test. My son takes this medicine and seems to be developing breasts. I need answers. ## Are you sure that is the only medication he is on? Breast development in males isn't a side effect of Dextroamphetamine. As a matter of fact, in some girls it can cause a delay in development. ## @Pauline, While gynaecomastia isn't listed as a side effect, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's not possible among a smaller percentage of users taking Dextro-amphetamine. Other "poisons" such as Accutane are famous for causing unlisted side effects. How can I get prescription assistance with generic 30 mg adderall? ## There are no assistance programs for generic medications, since by their very nature they are already much cheaper than their name brand counterparts. Additionally, since there is a generic available, there isn't even an assistance program available for the name brand Adderall. The best suggestion I can really make is to price shop the pharmacies in your area to see who has it available for the cheapest price. Another alternative would be to look into some of the free pharmacy discount cards and programs, using one of them if you have a local pharmacy that participates may save you a little money. According to the manufacturer's guidelines, they also suggest taking 10 to 20mg orally 2 or 3 times daily; with a third dose to be only be taken if necessary (as in some patients, a lesser amount may still suffice). The dosing indications could be somewhat different for each individual, as well as those using sustained release tablets. So, in my opinion it's always important to verify this type of information with your doctor first. I took 10mg adderall, 2 days after that i took another 10mg, day after that I took 20mg, and the day after that I took another 20mg (did adderall for 3 days in a row for a total of 50mg consumed). 2 days after that I did 10mg of ritalin. Adderall, or "mixed amphetamine salts combo" is a generic drug put out bt Teva and Shire. The prodrugs, Vyvance, and XL or LA formulas claim better blood levels thoughout the day and QD dosing. Psychiatrists aren't the only ones who prescibe these. AND you DO NOT GROW OUT OF THE CONDITION BECAUSE YOU ARE OLDER. Watch your BP THOUGH. Do not combine other sympathomemetic amine like phentermine, phendimetrazine, or caffeine. Using sedatives to overcome the stimulation is unwise. As the mere possession of anorexients and sedatives are a red flag. The use of stimulents are controversial, but if you are cleared by your Dr. it may offer good efficacious Tx for adult deficit disorder. Usually, the cause may be premature birth, prenatal smoking or drug use or unknown ideopathic etiology

Was told it's ritalin, but have never seen this kind. ## Hi Alana, Based on my research, the pill you have is actually identified as a 0.5mg Lorazepam tablet manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. (Definitely not Ritalin). Ritalin contains the active ingredient Methylphenidate, which is used for ADHD and narcolepsy. Lorazepam on the other hand is a benzodiazepine class drug that treats anxiety. Hopefully that wasn't a friend who gave or sold that to you saying it's Ritalin or I would have a difficult time trusting them from this point forward. ## It's a 1 MG not .5

I used less than .5 gram of methamphetamine on may 26. That was the first and only time. Is there a chance I will pass a hair follicle on July 28? I have heard that one time use will not show up. I hope that is true. That was my first and only time of trying it. ## I would be interested in your results I am in the same situation and gard to find for one time use ## I found out today I PASSED! I also did my hair with the vinegar, clean and clear, tide and t gel wash thing like 4 times. Hope this helps. The lady who did my test said that ONE time use will not show up. I asked. Good luck!

I need some advice about what I should do in my situation..... I have not been to the doctor in over 3 years because I have not had health insurance in over 5 years...
