I recently failed a hair follicle test showing that I had used methamphetamine in last 90 days, and I've never even done any. ## Hi Ronnie, sorry to hear that. Were you taking any other medications or over the counter supplements? Maybe the result came back with an error for something you were taking legitimately. Like any allergy or cold medications containing Pseudoephedrine? Can you give this some thought and post back??

Hello. I am a 34 yo female with diagnosis of fibromyalgia and hypersomnia. My rheumatologist is sending me to a pulmonologist (sleep specialist) because I am ALWAYS sleepy. The fatigue has ruined my life and causing problems in my marriage. I'm not sure ? narcolepsy. I just picked up a new prescription for my methylphenidate and it looks different than normal. I suspect its just a different brand but can't find anything online. Its a small yellow tablet with L indented (not printed) on one side and nothing on the other. Its supposed to be 20mg. Any ideas? ## Hello, Alana! How are you? Which drug store are they from? I was on yellow 20mg, but I changed myself to blue (with my doc approval). I was DOING WELL BUT NOW the pharmacist gave me a white tab with "CG" on one side and " > | 00" on the other sie. Don't seem as strong at all, I can't focus, and am losing time :'( ARE THEY THE SAME OR IS IT IN MY MIND? ## Oopsy was looking at tab sideways. It's A|B not an > over __ and 00. SO CAN ANYONE ANSWER as to why I'm finding them much less effective than the blue 10mg Ritalin in aiding my symptoms?

My 9 year ols nephew is on 40 mg a day this seems too much! He seems distant and depressed all the time, should I be concerned? ## Hi Kerry, From what I could gather, the usual pediatric dose can range from 5mg up to a maximum of 60mg once daily. The extended release capsules are not recommended for anyone age 6 or under, so I can only speculate that his body (from a biological standpoint) may not even be ready to handle this medication. Safety guidelines for this medication note that if any bothersome adverse reactions appear (e.g., insomnia, anorexia, or depression in this case), the dosage should be reduced. I think it's perfectly ok and natural to be concerned for someone who looks depressed and distant. This would probably be attributed to side effects and/or too high of a dose...

I have had ADHD for years and need perscribed adderal. ## I have adha and I have had it since I was 7 bit mom didn't want me on med that early. Is it possible to get clean from taking this drug in one day? I have to do a urine screening in the morning. I think it's normally a week or so of being clean just to be safe. ## i am a methamphetamine user and am currently on disability. i am seeing a workers comp doctor i have an appointment tomorrow. They may want to take blood to see if i have been taking my medication. Will they be able to detect my use of the other drug ??? I don't use adderall regularly but I took a little piece of a 30 prob. 5 or 10mg I have a drug test in 5 days will I pass it? ## I don't take adderall normally but I took a piece about a 5mg late Friday and had a urine drug test on Monday morning. Will I pass? ## I took a 15mg adderall friday night around 11:45pm and have a drug test on monday morning. Will it show up? I've been drinking plenty of fluids and urinating frequently. ## The half life of Adderall is around 10 hours so if you want to be safe try to give yourself a week. Remember that every 10 hours your body will metabolize half of what you took, so it goes from 1 to 1/2 to 1/4 to 1/8 etc every 10 hours. I had a test done that came back positive for methamphetamine. I was on metoprolol, and claritin-D. Which of these can come back as a positive for methamphetamines? ## Hi tina - it is possible that the Pseudoephedrine in Claritin-D is what caused the test to come back positive for amphetamines. You should definitely bring up the fact that you are on this medication because that should be factored in. Hope this helps! Need prescription for adderal and psych evaluation ## Ya know. I may answer my own question. As a Canadian, I know Canadian and Hispanic doctors are trained to work in every aspect of medicine. So, they are classified as general practioners, but are able to deliver babies and medicate the elderly. So, stuck in California with a system that funds only narcotic opiates and benzodiazepines for the mentally indigent, I am seeking a Hispanic or Canadian GP for my adderral. Clearly, adderral is amphetamines. F### what you think. The true ADHD, as myself, stutter post ingestion of adds. Anyway, I found a Hispanic GP in Compton. After 10 hours the methamphetamine in your system is considered half life. How much is it at 20 hours? ## At twenty hours your at 65% typically 48-72hrs is the whole life of .01g of methamphetamine. Be prepared for three days of no sleep boredom and skitzo affective hallucinations n audio hallucinations. Xanax and marijuana may help to chill out. Good luck!

Before my over 4 hours flight and knowing I will be all day on interview for airlines, I took half of adderall , I was hired from a spot but they also did a drug test, since I didn't have a prescription I failed, my question is can I apply for a different airlines and never take anything without prescription or this is on my record now? My husband was taking 20mg of Adderall once a day in the am. He attended an MS appt 8 days after his last dose. After his appt. he informed me that amphetamine salt was detected in his urine drug screen. First, can this be accurate? I could see that maybe if he abused the medication but 20mg once a day is not a lot. Second, could the MDs office test which was a standard cup test differentiate between amphetamine salt and amphetamine? I'm curious.

Have seen two people die of drugs in advanced stages. Lied through their teeth about the extent of their problem. Kept using until reached advance stages until they couldn't make decisions to keep them out of jail due to brain damage from drugs. If you are new to this "fantastic" feeling you get, know that you will ruin your life and die from it. You will lose everyone, everything, and end up to be the person you never thought you could be.
